Sometimes life is too similar to Cantr in all the wrong ways. I spend 6 hours this morning waiting, just waiting and waiting, for my brothers to wake up and get ready so we could spend the day with my father. I like my family and all, but really prefer spontaneous activities with them over planned ones since I am just about the only one who gravitates towards the arrive early side of things instead of the as-long-as-you're-there-within-a-couple-hours-of-the-planned-start-time-you're-not-late side of things. Christmas day with my father turned into just Christmas afternoon.

Boo for losing the contract at work and having a new company come in?
But.. yay for getting offered a transfer with your old company to a new location because they decided to only keep 4 people out of 50?

Gotta say, it's very nice knowing that the company I work for doesn't want to lose me. But it sucks in another respect because the new location is an hour away and I'm not going to have a set schedule anymore with my weekends off.

Well, I feel like crap today for no particular reason as far as I can tell.
It's bad enough that it's spilling into my characters and I'm having trouble roleplaying properly.
I just want to be someone else, and even that's failing, whatever, bluh.

Can't escape the nagging feeling that whatever it is, I should have gotten over it already.
Ah well, at least I do have a couple characters with valid reasons for feeling melancholy.


Edit, an hour and a half later: So... feeling okay now. I think I probably forgot to take my medicine last night, so taking it tonight and eating food seems to have done the trick. Life is weird.

Travelling is the most amazing thing in the world. Period.

Not just the trip itself, but seeking info about the place, the history, the culture, the food and the people... I enjoy even booking and organizing routes, no matter how small the budget may be.

My dream for 2017 is 'one trip each month'. It also helps with diet. Anytime I strongly feel like ordering pizza or whatever, I store 20 euros in my piggy bank. In three months, the total balance was: five kilos less, three new places in three different foreign countries visited, and I'm still saving some money, so hope I can keep being so lucky.

(It's not true, I don't have it right now cause we are still moving and we still don't have the house and I don't know for sure when the moving company will bring the stuff and we are living in a hotel for the week... But, hey, it's a very cute hotel with super crappy internet and awesome food...)
