And yes Snickie, tourists! But I'm not like most. I actually try not to point it out that I'm a tourist. The only way you'd probably know would be the fact that I'm basically a ghost since I don't get out in the sun much with my work schedule.

I grew up in Las Vegas. Locals can usually tell the tourists who are trying to pretend to be locals. So when I tourist, I tourist - Gift shop hat, camera around my neck, socks and sandals, even wore a fanny pack on one vacation. Why would I want to be a local? I've been a local, they're too busy serving drinks and meals to enjoy them. Chase the tourist traps, find your plastic kitch, enjoy the sights, and tip well.

I work at the college as a music tutor. I make squat (partly because I get squat hours but that can't be helped since we're a small ish school). Payroll moved the timesheet deadline because this is a short week due to Thanksgiving. That's great that they want to be on top of stuff like early payments (and early timesheets) but they did not communicate this well at all and so now I'm short two weeks' pay. Which is squat but still.
I wouldn't have minded getting paid for the last timesheet after the holiday but nooooo.

Cantr was so busy yesterday and today it's mostly dead. What happened? Good grief I am bored. I'm looking forward to starting another trainee period Monday, although it will only be 5 hours a day. That will take my mind off of Cantr for a while.

Well, made it to about five hours away from our destination in one night before the need for sleep got to us. Snickie, we changed our mind and are acting like complete tourists. Car rides usually make me super tired but I've been taking videos to pass time and posting them to my Facebook page when I get wifi. Do have to say I absolutely LOVE the weather. 61F and sunny here where we're at and my dad told me it's only in the 30's and cloudy back home. I'll take it!

I think "I'm still alive" is the best verbiage I could manage to muster about my lack of IG presence lately too. Hopefully back to normal soon (I'm tired of doing stuff)

ditto...I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling like that. If only that "soon" would stop moving further into the future every time I think I'm about to reach it.

I've managed to keep a couple characters sort of active, but I haven't even skimmed the events log for others in over two months. (still no one has starved, you food pushers are too kind) Anytime I have some free time and wake up a few more characters I get another week of 13 hour workdays and spend my weekend catching up on chores, errands, and family stuff. The persistent world aspect of Cantr really sucks at those times since they can't just pick up where they left off, their world just moves on or falls apart without them. It'd be nice of I could just load from my last save point.
