Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Throw in only one paragraph each for the remaining three points, with the comfort that they can be total crap. She'll have already made her decision on your grade by that point so you're just being official by now. Make sure the conclusion acknowledges each point and you are golden.
B+ at a minimum.
Edit: P.S. If you're actually consumed with the topic and words are just spilling out of you, then you can make it as long as you want. Just give her an eager smile when you turned it in and claim you were so interested in the topic that you couldn't help going overboard. You'll have an A, even if she doesn't read it.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I completely BSed my introduction. Yay. XD
And yes, words are spilling out of me. I don't write 10-page-when-it-only-needs-to-be-two-page papers for boring topics.
Perhaps I'm being a little too detailed in my answers.
Unfortunately an A is not within my sights. See, I was supposed to have done this paper leaving me with enough time to take it to the Writing Center (with proof in the form of a handwritten note attached to the back), and now I don't have time to do that. The hard copy is due in class at 10am tomorrow (today?) and the Writing Center opens at noon. So I will lose 20/100 points that will send my overall grade to a B+ from an A- but I will have a kickass essay anyway.
And then I'll have to ace the next test and slay the group presentation.
Edit:

Edit:
Final numbers:
13 pages (double spaced)
4080 words (including headers and page citations)
Bedtime.

I'm far away from being a Grammar Nazi, but I find some words inaccurate. I'd like to hear thoughts about this. "128 words to use instead of Very" http://www.proofreadingservices.com/pages/very
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I did a search in my paper just now. My only instances of the word "very" (that weren't part of a word containing "every") were directly quoted from the text with one exception where I said "at the very least" which, I realized even then that that was unnecessary, but I never got around to deleting it.
I looked at the list you posted. They're not all bad but some of the words they chose have slightly different connotations than the word they're replacing even though fundamentally they mean the same thing. Basically just invest in a good thesaurus. Or thesaurus.com will work too. I definitely used it at least once last night (I was looking for a synonym to "full of it" in noun form and came up with "arrogance" and "pompousness" as good answers.)
The more common words are most commonly also the more ambiguously defined ("versatile") words. For example, they used "thoughtful" for "very sweet" but those two words envelope slightly different spectrums. Here, the common trait is "kind". One could also use "demure", in which case the common ground may be "innocent". If you're looking for a more literal or sensory augmentation without much specification, you could use "sugary".

Woo! We won't get there until Saturday since we are driving but we will be there for a week. While everyone here will be dealing with snow I'll be on the beach.

Tourists!

Nothing like payroll moving the timesheet deadline to earlier without telling anybody and then locking the timesheet so you can't submit it because you were too late and "should have known".

I'm sorry, Millhouse.

And yes Snickie, tourists! But I'm not like most. I actually try not to point it out that I'm a tourist. The only way you'd probably know would be the fact that I'm basically a ghost since I don't get out in the sun much with my work schedule.
