Praise to the new functions!

Postby Pirog » Tue Nov 16, 2004 11:09 pm

Since it is always easier to see the negaitive effects on changes there has been a lot of complaints and critique. (more or less constructive.)

Although I would like to see some of the new features changed to work better I want to take this oppurtunity to thank Jos and the others behind them for their hard work on taking Cantr to this new level.

I'm sure the game will benifit a huge deal from these new features once the worried questions from us users have been answered and perhaps some changes has been done to make the functions work even better.

So, thanks a bunch for improving Cantr!!! :D

Amen, thanks for the work.

We'll see its effects, but I'm optimistic about them, at this time. (since they've been clarified)

I wish I knew more (always will, though), but this ought to finally bring in some speciallization, which is a very good thing.

The tiredness and fighting, depending on how big an issue it is and whether it turns out to be possible for a few people to kill quickly, should make a huge impact on societies...guards are essentially forced to idlesness, unless there are some non-tiring occupations for them. This is a very good and interesting thing.

This should also greatly boost the danger level, once the criminals out there get their fighting skills built up again. That's also a very good thing.

I am sorry I annoyed you about the combat, but I am rather glad with the changes, I like how you can get better at things, I just thought that everything was lowered, and so I complained, I didn't know that skills had been implemented. So I am rather happy about those changes, but I can't tell if they took them out because my weapons are doing full again :(.

It also makes it so the young spawns can't just get a weapon kill everyone then die. They have to buil up thier character to do damage and by that time hopefully they won't want it to die so they won't attack.

I love it, my char does 40 damage with a Comp Rec Bow now! He's got skills! He does hunt every day... it's paid off!
