Saboteur in Djorf Hills west
An idiot, which I named "(Saboteur)" jammed the mudhole in Djorf Hills west by creating a project requiring 30000 sand and 7500 water. The sand is not such a big problem but with the water we'll need 75 days to gather it. Project was created in 997,1.

So...
Is there anything preventing you from making a new mudhole?
This really seems more like an inconvenience than an irreconcilable problem.
You may not wish to make a new mudhole, or do the other work to clear the project, but if you do...you would have a lot of mud. Either way...my opinion is that this clogged machine is not harming the game play.
Recently I had to make a new smelter over a similar situation... Only it was because the project was larger than the amount of a particular resource that we didn't have. That resource happens to be five towns away!

It becomes so unrealistic that I think it comes down to exploiting a structural weakness in the game...I see it as cheating.
Think about it. The citizens standing around their beloved maching..."oh no! He put an almost endless pile of sand and half a lake worth of water next to the machine...now we have to use it all and we can't use any of the resources until we have gone thru the entire pile."
If characters were meant to be able to sabotage machines there would be a button for that...

I don't see it as cheating (once again, though, as long as it isn't done by someone just being a jerk), way I see it if there is a conflict then anything is open to attack, including any machinery. I totally disagree with the "sabotage button" you're using as an arguement, seriously, how many machines have you seen in RL with a button marked, "Push to Sabotage"? None, thats how many, and do you think that means they can't be sabotaged? Hell no, anything can be made to not work.

Your argument isn't very solid either. How many machines can you think of IRL that you jam, packed full of materials, that the material can't be removed? IC the materials can't be removed and it only annoys the player.
If you jam a smelterer IRL the materials can be removed. If you do it to an oven the materials can be removed as well. And on a loom and a gin etc..
And again I remind everyone not to do it. It is considered bad behaviour from the player, and any player caught doing it, will be dealt with accordingly.

It's entirely dependent on what you jam into something as to whether a machine would be broken, in RL you can't sabotage a machine in the same way as in game, it's the end result that matters.

Are you serious?
As far as I know people IRL doesn't have buttons with "drag" and "hit" either...I'm pretty sure the buttons in Cantr are there for functionality, not actually representing button

Yes, I'm serious, realize, your arguement seems just as stupid to me. Don't you know how to do something unless there's a button for it? Just because there's not a button for it does that mean to you it can't be done? To me just because there isn't a button in game to represent the action doesn't mean it can't be done if there is another way to accomplish the same results.

It should be possible to sabotage things...
Sabotage's origins are from some wooden shoes they used to have. A factory worker would sometimes toss their wooden shoe, called a sabot I think, into the machinery to jam it. Or something like that. Anyway, we can't really chuck wooden shoes into machines here to sabotage things, but it is a great military tactic and sometimes used when workers want to go on strike or something of the such. So creating enourmous projects that would be hard to complete, and stuffing some resources on it would be an effective method of sabotage.
