Many forums have general discussion mods from the community who have no conflict of interest and these people are often very experienced.
This is partly why there is unnecessary negativity toward staff. Joining staff doesn't suddenly turn you into a different person or make you no longer a player seeking the interests of the players. Especially for staff members who are only forum moderators (though really this applies to all staff), these are people from the community seeking to help the Cantr community, and they shouldn't have a conflict of interest. We do need more, however.
What do you think my interest is? I just want everyone to be happy and for Cantr to succeed.
Actions of some can imply conflict of interest , not just being staff. If staff are involved in a thread from that players perpective then they should remove themselves from modding anything non urgent on it. Then no one can accuse them of bias in their edits. Some notification for edits/delete to the poster will also help clear up any misunderstanding and improve positivity
