Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Good luck and congratulations Vega.
Wedding day was stressful on everyone but me.
Family politics was high as each mother tried to outdo the other like the day was about them.
One fainting spell to garner attention.
They were mad if we did not open the presents in the right order. (We were just glad for presents!)
In the end though, when its showtime everything comes together.
I wish all the blessings in the world as you start a new phase of life and don't forget to post baby pictures!

Thank you!!
Baby pictures? I think those will have to wait a bit. For the babies, at least.
A few hours more waiting, four hours of "going home, try to sleep drive back to the hospital" and I'm back with him again. Still in ER...

We left like 3 hours ago, he's kinda okay, so nothing to worry (too much) about.
I want my bed.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
In the list of things that can go wrong we can add a broken car some days before...
But oh, oh, oh!!!
The day was so incredibly awesome!! I laughed and danced and sang and all so much!!!
The only bad things: The shoes hurt. I had to be barefoot most of the day.
The dress was too long and annoying to dance. I ( and others) stepped so many times on it that I destroyed the lower part. It's such a mess now...
My legs hurt now. But wow.
It's over. Can I go back in time and repeat it?

Cantr II is a social simulator. What is not working is due a problem in the society.
Cantr is like Vegas - what happens in the game should be in the game.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I've been in the hospital at the beginning of this week. I'm not sure what's going on yet as nothing has felt better. Giving things a few hours today before I go back. Yesterday was a really bad day and even my brother saw it when he came over to check up on me. If you know who my characters are that's why they're so quiet the last few days. I haven't had the energy to actually play but I have checked at least once a day. Just to glance over things. If you know my characters, I ask to please keep an eye on them?
Oh look, another glorious morning… makes me SICK!

Oh no, please rest up Shedevil.

Do they have any idea what's going on? Was it just out of the blue?

Right now they're saying severe anemia. If it drops any lower than what it is at this point, I may need a blood transfusion. I was back in the emergency room this evening and that's all they told me. Filled me with IV fluids, made sure to ask if I was taking my meds (which I am) and to follow up with my primary doctor on the 7th. Though I've been cleared to go back to work tomorrow, so we will see how it goes. With how tired and weak I am all this week, I'm not getting my hopes up about being able to return to normal just yet.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I have a relative that has been slowly losing blood for some unknown reason. Her iron levels are fine and her monthlies aren't heavy, but she's been feeling super tired and sluggish lately, which is bound to happen when you're missing two pints of blood out of the 10 pints that are supposed to be in the average human body. First she thought it was thyroid (thyroid disease runs in our family) and then she thought it was anemia and it turns out to be neither of those.
Hope you feel better, Shedevil!

Feel better soon Shedevil... you are extremely missed.

Its that time of year for me (well, it happens every day and twice actually) where we get a day to thank and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country. Every soldier and yes, every law enforcement officer, starts each day with the prospect of it being their last day.
It is said that (In the USA at least) is dedicated to those who paid the ultimate price. I think that all paid that price to varying degree's, all paid that price. Whether it was their lives, or a physical part, or a piece of their soul... nobody came home whole.

That sounds something like Commemoration Day of Fallen Soldiers that we Finnish have (Third Sunday in May each year). A day for us to remember all the fallen soldiers during Finnish Civil war (1918), Winter War (1939), Continuation war 1941-1944 and Lapland war (1944-1945) and also some Lotta Svärd members who died during 3 of the latter wars.
As one can guess it focuses heavily on second world war
Not sure does that day apply to others cause Finland hasn't been at war since second world war..

Watching Avatar: The Last Airbender again for the first time since it aired in 2005? or whenever. For a cartoon, still completely watchable 11 years later. The new series, Legend of Korra, was much prettier and had some awesome worldbuilding, but it really suffered from slipshod story-telling. The first season was self-contained, and then they flailed around for where to go from there, with varying degrees of success, and the ending of Korra was shoe-horned in at the last minute by the creator in order to appease his fans by his own admission. The Last Airbender, meanwhile, has a relatively tightly plotted story throughout for a kid's show.

Such a cute baby, Wolfsong. I love the smile
I've been having horrible headaches today, I think mostly because I barely slept 4 hours. And it's the second day in a row that I cannot sleep.
To make it worse, my husband brought the parrot to the bed (like he uses to do in the mornings) and it had a nightmare or got startled or something... and (when I finally was asleep) it woke me up landing on my face...
