I need a break from all the wedding preparations and from my mother. Mostly from my mother.

Question for the married people: how "normal" is it to have a table with cakes fit "visitors and people coming fit breakfast" in your wedding day?
Damn it!!! I just want to get ready calmly and without annoying people around, not having to be locked on my room the damn morning just because...

Another mini rant from me today, about being subjected to other people's music tastes...this time though, I know exactly where it's coming from! It's one of my next door neighbour's kids. If the volume wasn't bad enough, then there's the extraordinarily irritating habit they have of skipping to another track before the current one has finished (usually only plays about half a song before changing) and on top of that I'm also being tortured by them singing along to bits of it. And it's not exactly a talent they possess I didn't have a headache, but I do now!

A year ago today, I didn't know I was saying goodbye to a friend.
In some ways we have already said it and it was not an amicable parting.
I had always thought that truth was the best policy and being kind was the default.
Unfortunately, some spoken/written words cannot possess both if they even possess one.
I finally chose truth and another hated April ends.

Weather report said it will be rainy for days when I'll come to NL and what happened? It suddenly got sunny. Talk to the weather nicely, sometimes it listens.

How long does teething last? I am going crazy not being able to do much more than hold him. But I managed to unlock my phone with my nose, so there's that. And he seems to dig Gipsy Kings, so we have that in common.

Wolfsong, if it's not too cold there, try with frozen things. They sell this toys to bite that you can put in the freezer and you can always freeze pieces of apple. They won't be a miracle, but they can help with the pain.

Today was 15 degrees C. Maybe not too cold yet, but definitely getting there!

And in the list of shit that can happen when you are getting married, my mother decided to make a small reunion with her family that isn't coming, set some food, etc.

I was kinda looking forward to it but my father in law got quite sick and I've been in the hospital with him for almost four hours now (and it seems we'll still be here for some time more.)

He's again all happy but I missed the dinner, I'm starving, dizzy and awfully anxious and I just want to go back home and (eat and) cry...

Look at it this way - you only need to get married once, and then it's over and you'll hardly remember it anyway.
