Drunkness when emptying bottles
Twice lately, when attempting to take some alcohol (sake in my case) out of a bottle, so that I would "sip it" rather than down the whole storage and pass out over 115% drunkenness, i clicked the little up-arrow icon to remove some inventory from the storage. That provided a field to enter how much to take out of the storage.
I entered 200 grams in the field that asked "how much do you want to remove?" (or whatever the exact text is), and suddenly, I was falling down drunk. The bottle held 300g.
I did not click on the little bread-icon to Eat/Drink/Consume the contents. I've done that before when completely emptying it at once. It only seems to be also Drinking when attempting to "pour some out".
(because I stored all 300g of sake in a bottle for convenience, then I only wanted a little in to "drink")
It seems that instead of removing the contents, that made me Drink them.
HOWEVER, the drunkeness scale on the character page, only shows 75% drunk. Hmm... I can not test it on another character, but I had in my 'testing/experimenting' notes that Passed-Out-Drunk was closer to 90+% ...hmmmm?
The first time it happened, I thought maybe I just mis-clicked or was tired.
This time, I was very careful to try removing some from storage... but that made me Drink the bottle. Eeks.
Anyone else confirm this?
Am I perhaps just misunderstanding the mechanics, or could it be a bug?

It sounds like a bug to me. Maybe - if it's possible - we could have the ability to enter how much we want to drink from within a container?

Re: Drunkness when emptying bottles
I've avoided drinking out of containers for fear of this happening, even when the roleplay was appropriate for my character to have a sip of her drink. Glad to know my skepticism wasn't all for nothing.

We do have this. You have to click first to "Empty this container" and then once you click that it opens up the menu that shows how much is in the bottle, then you can choose exactly how much to "eat".
I haven't had this issue at all, one of my character is always sipping from a bottle in this manner. I've accidentally hit the "eat all" button beside the empty container button a few times though.
On that inside the container menu too though, the eat button and the pick up button are also close. Its possible to hit one rather than the other and they both give you the field to enter amount.
EDIT: I just tested using your example of what you did (mind you not with sake, but with brandy and beer on two separate characters and didn't get that issue at all. I don';t have sake so I can't see if maybe it's the liquid that's buggy or something, but it seems to work as intended.

And 75% is the pass-out limit. The difference is that if you drink up to 100%, it will take you hours to be capable of moving again, whereas if you only drink up to 75%, you'll be moving again after one tick.

Re: Drunkness when emptying bottles
Ahhh, the misunderstanding is my part then.
I had assumed "taking out of the container" was the same as emptying a wooned box, or hide bag or any number of other containers. you would "pour it out" into your pockets. I had been trying to leave around 25% drunk-levels to sip after removing some.
I now seem to understand that entering a number there actually Drinks that amount, not stores it.
However, the interface clearly implies it will go into Inventory. (see below)

Tested just now, and taking 10 grams of sake from the bottle, actually made my character more tipsy again, and not put it in their pockets. I drank 10 grams, got a bit more tispy, and the bottle has 140 grams still in it now. So, it's worded kinda wonky.
Hmm.... now I get it, but it's confusing.

Re: Drunkness when emptying bottles
It should certainly be possible to take stuff out of a container without drinking it. If both buttons do the same, that is a bug.

I agree with Seko. It's definitely a bug going on for you there, since it worked fine in my case, as intended. Hope you find a fix.

Re: Drunkness when emptying bottles
I just tested with sake, from a small glass bottle and had absolutely no issue. So, the bug certainly seems to be localised to you, nateflory, sorry!

What browser are you using? Does it happen on a different browser or other devices?
I'd say it's pretty strange. The only way I can explain it is you have opened the eating form and when you selected a different action then something wasn't cleaned up properly. Have you done any manipulation on this page prior to clicking the "take" button?

Are you clicking on the "Go" button when you confirm the amount to take out, or using the Enter key on your keyboard to confirm? I've notice odd things sometimes happen when using Enter to submit.

Re: Drunkness when emptying bottles
I tried a few more times, and... without changing anything that I am aware of, (I click the buttons, not hit enter)... it seems to work just fine now.
Very weird. Seems to be Sorted.... but unsure why it did that before. I know after posting I was very careful to click the up arrow, and such... bugs are weird.

Mine bugged. :]
All I wanted was 50 grams.
I ended up with more than 5x that amount.
I mean, it's not a big deal OOCly since I'm away all day and I'm not supposed to be on Cantr but it's making a very big mess for me in-character lol
Details:
Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Android 6.0.1
Chrome browser (outdated, idk what version)
266 grams of wine in a glass bottle
266 grams of wine consumed even though I entered 50 grams into the input
