I keep thinking there's something I forgot to do tonight and I'm becoming increasingly convinced it's nothing more than 'go to bed'.

My brain is no longer functioning but I just (re?)discovered tumblr and there are cat pictures and everything.

Tumblr is an endless black hole.
It is a feeding tube connected to an unending supply of obsessions fodder.

My laptop is dying. And not slowly. Black lines are growing on my screen and I don't know what to do to stop it. :/

It started last month on the lower part and someone told me that it'd be better if I didn't close it anymore, and it worked, it stopped and started dissappearing... But now is growing a lot and lots faster on the upper part.

I don't want my computer to die!!

If the black lines are constantly in same place that means that sadly the pixels are burned on the screen and you will have to change the screen.

However if the lines are not constantly in the same place then there are two options that can be with your computer:
- one of the lines are burned and need to be changed.
- there is alot of dust near the graphic card and you need to clean it (inside the laptop)

They are constantly in the same place and growing so I thought it was the pixel thing. It was the same at the bottom but then they suddenly started to become less dark and most of the lines disappeared... Until some days ago, that they started somewhere else and they grow faster.

Less dark? So maybe it's not the pixels that are burned.

It could be simply issue with drivers if you updated your computer recently

Hey Everyone! Long time no talk. I have been thinking of all of you recently and though it might not be the appropriate place to do this, well... not sure where else to say what I need to.

I do miss a good majority of you in this world and though I haven't been playing for some time, I haven't forgotten about this green world. I left abruptly and I never explained why. I know most wouldn't ask for an explanation, but I feel it is time that I should atleast let you know why I left so quickly a year ago. There are quite a few of you that knew my situation in regards to my oldest son. Well my leaving had something to do with him. In my rush to get out from under my parents roof and on my own again with my 3 children, I ended up putting us into a worse situation than we had ever been in. Wrong friends and long work hours for me made for a bad home life. Drugs entered the home, and boredom pushed towards breaking the law. Though my son had been guilty of many things, what he was charged with was over the top. He was arrested and then put on house arrest for over 6 months. Needless to say we moved back in with my parents. It was too much for me to handle and I fell into a deep depression. Court dates, lawyer visits, probation meetings... you name it and we did it. I was so glad that the year ended and a new one began. He is now 18 and living with his girlfriend. He is almost finished graduating high school and has plans of going to college. Course his record still hangs over his head. He keeps to himself as I have been doing. It has been a long road but there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel.

Anyways, I just wanted to stop in and say hello. Maybe one day I will return to the land of the green but I'm still unable to do so. I was trying to keep my characters alive during all of this but due to an update on my phone, I was no longer receiving email alerts like I was supposed to. It took another cantr player messaging me to ask if I had timed out before I even realized my chars were gone. It was quite devastating to me and with all the work that went into those characters, I can't seem to push myself into making any others. I'm still around so if there are any out there that are wanting to keep in touch, I'll make sure my contact info is on here somewhere. Everything has changed so much lol

With that, I miss you all. Hope life is treating you all well.

Without getting into too much detail on the open forum, life really sucks lately.

"Woke up" grumpy from lack of sleep, but then I found a bunch of clothes Mark'll fit into now, and they're all ADORABLE. OH MY GOD. SO CUTE. The only problem is that they're cold weather stuff, and it's still up in the mid 30s here... But we're going to see the family for Easter weekend and it's in the low 20s on the coast.

There's a little hip sweater, tons of cute pants, a baby hoodie, and little teeny, soft baby boots.

A while ago, one of my characters set up a few tiny precautions to prevent xir from making a particular type of stupid decision. I had completely forgotten about this. Some evil plans I had for xir started with hinting that xe was planning to make the same kind of stupid decision xe made precautions against - and the character xe asked to remind xir of the precautions did so.

I'm both pleasantly surprised (because it was an oddly sensible thing for one of my characters to do, especially this one), and slightly miffed, because I rather liked said evil plans. But still, it's rather satisfying to realize that Past Me actually did something moderately clever that came up later. Especially since I'd forgotten about it entirely until now. Not sure where stuff's going from here, but either way it'll be entertaining.



Also I learned today that the owner of the comic store I go to used to make weapons and armor. Like, real ones. So cool.

I don't know what happened, if my phone updated or is just finally rebelling but my autocorrect went completely nuts last night. I apologize for all the typos on all the characters because I eventually just gave up. Even re-reading posts before posting I was missing errors because I trusted the stupid phone to not make my characters sound so ridiculousssss. Technology screw you for making me dependent and then letting me down!
