Amuses:

Trying to figure out if that newspawn is a US English speaker who just made a very unfortunate word choice while unaware of what it means in UK English, or a UK English speaker who chose the word knowing they could probably get away with it because its US meaning isn't anywhere near as obscene.

I guess it was true either way but *dies laughing*

It was probably American Slang for the derriere.
Seriously, I had to look it up.

But lets keep the 4 day rule in mind for all events happening there please.

Yeah that's (I believe) what was intended.

Would that fall under the 4-day rule? I can redact it if need be. I thought I was OK having not even hinted at a location and with the only information being that a newspawn spawned which happens all over the place all the time.

I don't think that's worth a 4 day rule reminder. I mean, the word could have as easily been thong, or duff, or any number of other slang terms.

My thinking was that even had I included the specific word it would have told you nothing remotely spoilerish or abusable, because unless you were there and therefore already knew everything and far more that the post was telling you the news would have approximately been 'a newspawn spawned in a place with two or more English speakers and spoke'.

*shrugs* Offer to redact stands, I just don't get it.

Letting people find out the word in question will break the cantr time continuum itself.

Day 5000 passed and barely any external promotion about it anywhere apart from a rush attempt the day before. Golden opportunity once again gone flush.

This is what amuses me about cantr

Don't worry about it OWC, It was just a general reminder to everyone who reads here.

I know a lot is going on.

Aight, thanks for the reassurance :)

Cantr has actually been super busy all over for me, even in places where the day has barely been noticed. I like times like these :3

I'll spare you all my train of thoughts of this morning... But it ended something like... Now that Jos is playing again, I imagined one of his chars arriving to that town with the Temple of Jos the Creator and raising his arms and yelling "I am God".
I couldn't avoid laughing all alone...

I'll go back to my corner, I know...

And even if that DID happen, we could never be sure if it's a delusional character being completely IC, or actually Jos blending a silly bit of OOC into the world, KNOWING that we would never know 100% if true, either.
That amuses me about Cantr. Who is who? We just don't know. They are themselves, only. YAY immersion!

It's amusing to wonder who's the next to slip up and talk with the wrong character. In place X, only two people have done it within the last few days, and considering how many people have two or three (or more?) characters in the same place, that's pretty good. I wonder if everybody already knows who my second character is, should I be so worried about accidentally talking with the wrong one?
