Thought of the day, in Cantr, you probably don't want to create too many keys for one building because if a lot of people die, you end up with an annoying amount of keys to the same building. I just had this idea, what if a large town divided newspawns into worker cells that each had their own storage? Say one storage for 4-5 people. The town's resources would be divided between the storage rooms. Common resources would be in every storage room, but some cells could be specialized in say cooking, tailoring or metals. The workers in the cell would store what they gather and produce in the storage room assigned to their cell, and a manager could occasionally redistribute resources between the storage rooms. In a lot of towns, people only gather what they can carry and stand idle if their inventory is full. But if they are given access to a storage, they have a place to store their resources, which frees them into gathering more than they can carry.

I remember Basil Brush having a public storage room with a smaller locked room behind it which was used for more rare and precious goods.

One way to better manage the keys of a city is to create a small building to the Caretaker, who takes care of managing all the keys. A law dictates that no one is allowed to leave the city with a public key, so after using a key, returns it to the caretaker's building,

It's Women's Day today! My husband and I celebrated it by donating blood. I suppose we're two weirdos.

I only know of Women's Day thanks to my husband's Tuvan penpal. Not really a thing in first world countries. ('First world' in this case used correctly.)

Colour me jealous.

But our Dutch internets are usually super neat. I've got 100 Mbit/s up and down, fiber.. in a town.

Oh, then I should encourage you all to register as bone marrow donors.
http://www.dkms.de/en
They are active in a few countries (including the States and the UK). I registered myself there a few years back and still hope that one day I will be able to help someone. The registration is really easy. They send you a letter looking like this Image

You only have to take a smear from your mouth and send it back. Simple as that.

And, while you're at it:

Assuming it's something possible in your country, sign up as an organ donor too, if you didn't do so already ;)

It might not be a happy thing to think about right now, still, it's a good thing to do.

Reminds me I need to give blood once I've checked this dodgy mole on my neck is only dodgy in a non-scary way.
