Has there ever been a war?

Hello citizens I started playing Cantr about two years ago and then resigned for a bit, I recently returned however I might as well be a new player because I only played about a month but now to the point has anyone experienced a war in Cantr has there ever been one ?

Yes, There have been at least four conflicts that I know of that involved several or more towns and spanned long enough periods to not be considered small skirmishes.

There exists at least one library in-game that has all four of them documented enough for a curious character to put the pieces of history together.

P.S. There have been many, many massacres, skirmishes between two towns, or violent conflicts between several towns that may not have classified as war. Cantr's history is incredibly violent.

I didn't realize it, was wow, I thought the worst thing that happend was suicides, thieves, and pirates

I completely agree that someone should make a time line or something, any idea where the library is ?

This is a question that shouldn't be answered outside of the game. The notes would have to be found in legitimate ways.

I don't know if stating the library location would be considered improper. To be safe, I would recommend that, if you have a curious character, they start asking the oldest wakeful person for history stories, or ask the old folks what person/place has lots of old notes. Also...here's a riddle for you...what sort of business might a retired warrior likely end up running? Just something to think about

Hmm ya know I my guess would be a blacksmiths shop ? Teaching slef defense classes? Becoming a mercenary? Or nothing warriors never retire ?

I remember a major war years and years ago that was one of the best gameplay I have experienced ... But the best way to learn about these things is to start a character whose life objective is to learn more about the history of Cantr or something like that, and then learn about these things in-game instead of on the forum. It's a more challenging and interesting puzzle to do it that way

Or, maybe even more challenging than Jos' suggestion, create a char, gather up an army and go conquer another city or even island!

there have been multiple wars in cantr of those I experienced... in 1 I was a spectator, in another I was a soldier and in another I was a queen.

Around 2004 when I started playing one of my characters spawned in a town that was preparing for war, and was drafted within minutes. Then this group of characters (I'm not calling it an army, but there was at least a dozen "foot soldiers" and some leaders in vehicles) -walked- for what must have been weeks, several towns away to fight. I can't remember what happened with that character, so he was probably killed rather early in the fight.

I remember a war of tribes on a certain smaller island. It was not really a war, it was a wipeout that ended with a boat chase and a whole lot of blood.

And I remember a confrontation in the middle of a war, in which the leader of the gang who was winning died of a heart attack and lost the key of the full headquarter to the leader who was being beaten. Things are unpredictable and anything can happen.

Ive thought about it , is it just me or do really old people make the best soldiers ;-; ?
