Well, I don't know but I guess burying so many people is just emotionally a bit hard? I mean it's a game but still.. Kinda depressing to bury so many people. What ever reason is.. It's still visible how.. Quiet game has become.. you might have a full day pass without anyone saying anything (but people do pick food or walk around, just no words)

I have it at about 9 given timings of deaths across towns , maybe one or two locks given sleep before hand.

I think there are still many fantastic characters out there. Hopefully one of these days I'll get around to writing a little thank-you to those characters and their players for staying true to the game.

Truly there are and I'm grateful to them all, but still missing some weird ones.

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.

Trying to find a balance between actually playing your character the way they should be played and not scaring off someone you know is a new player is sometimes very difficult!

I had to deal with that a lot in my MUDding days, but I always found that I was a little bit more lenient with new players, provided they weren't idiots. It's easy to steer the new ones, and if they can't be led... then you murder them in view of other newbies, and it's not a lesson wasted.
Edit: I have played much, much meaner characters though.

Yeah... I convinced a friend to play probably two months ago, and they ended up spawning in Dragonloft. And during one of the crazier days where everything was happening at once. It scared him off

People who RP falling down drunk without drinking anything. I mean, there was no way to tell before if people were actually consuming their booze or not, but now there is.
Stop fake drinking it's breaking my immersion.

That happens IRL, though, too. Just call them out on it and mock them for trying to be cool.

Unfortunately with the change it seems to be people who just simply don't want to use what's in their inventory because heaven forbid they have to actually use resources for role play. That's a valuable trade good after all! I love this change though I think we're going to be seeing a lot of alcoholics going through withdrawals soon now that the mechanics don't allow for hiding.

Where is the Pause button in Cantr? I think I pressed it unintentionally...

Cantr II is a social simulator. What is not working is due a problem in the society.
Cantr is like Vegas - what happens in the game should be in the game.

I hate it when this bloody game makes my heart break.
“Man sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. He is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”
