Yeah, we have had sharp decline on players unfortunately :/ One quitting player can result in loss of 15 chars..

Well, I've noticed this in it's most extreme form playing as Dutch characters, since back in the days there were enough to populate an entire island. Now they are scattered, mixed with other language-based players.
There is luckily still a fair amount of English characters. The time I spend on 3 Dutch characters is equal to the amount I spend to 1 English character, so it's not completely dead :-p There is still hope
And If i encourage one of my friends to start playing Cantr, I've increased the amount of Dutch players by 10%!

Well, that's true.. There' way more dead languages (like mine, Finnish) but it's dire on english area too.. There's towns with 15-20 people where only 2 wake at all. So at some point their accounts time out and players drop..

Well, recruit some friends then! You can boost up your own language!
And I've noticed some inactive players in the English area too.. Maybe Cantr should do some advertisement? There is such a low amount of active players, that a few new people can make a big difference. I think it's still not too late to save this game, but something has to be done fast if more and more people are quiting..

Well, most my friends don't play these games.. They are more into Call of duty kind of games and Cantr is rather slow pace game. Anyway welcome back and your right, we should do something while we still can. Amount of sleepers and quitting players are alarming. I mean more people would mean more fun to all

Thanks again Sherman!
I'll see how this goes for now, and will recommend this game to some friends
Hopefully the Language department will soon respond, so I can help translating the game.

Welcome back, hope you have good time in green.

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.

I think my third unsubbing has ended, possibly. I've been gone a year again. I thought of Cantr today since I was first introduced to it on my birthday 10 years ago this week!!
How are player numbers these days? When I last played they'd declined significantly since my previous un-sub.

Players numbers are down, but it's not showing much in the areas my characters are.

It's be recently optimized on mobile, I see you mentioned that in past posts, so that's at least something positive to tell you happened in your absence.

This isn't really the topic to have this discussion in, but one of the probable causes is that a lot of inactive accounts were timed out recently. Perhaps it is also evidence that the people who yell loudest/most on the forums isn't the ones producing most of the in-game content?
