Wait a sec- Rainbow the group who had the lead singer Dio (who later joined Black Sabbath after Ozzy left)?

Anyways I'm listening to YES! "Owner of a Lonely Heart, Changes" And I was listening to the Ramones earlier, and before that, the (rolling) Stones, and before that Heart, and before that I was listening to Queen.

So yeah. And I saw the rockumentary (or rather mockumentary) This is Spinal Tap the music wasn't all that bad ;)

Yes, Ronnie James Dio sang for Rainbow for the first few albums. The band is better known for its lead guitar player, Ritchie Blackmore. This was his creation after Deep Purple. Dio was barely heard of before Rainbow.

I first saw Rainbow in 1975 at the Calderone Theater on Long Island, when AC/DC was the opening act.

I listen to a lot of Phish. I've got lots of shows as mp3 if anyone's interested in a trade or something. You'll notice Trey gettin' down if you look to your left.

Primus, Oysterhead, Particle, Grateful Dead are also some of my favorites. And lots of folk music.
Was it for this my life I sought?
Maybe so, maybe not.
