ETA: Keeping with the inappropriate amusements...I've been watching season 2 of Fargo and now... *SPOILER ALERT*
I'm not so sure what to make of my Cantrians setting up or working on a 'grinding rye' project...

I love when an incredibly dark and dramatic character's emote is struck by a typo that makes it hysterically funny.

Not that, but I've probably seen that one before

I was amused to find "The Body" in the Klojt Library. My char wrote it in the...400s? She wanted it to remain anonymous because she didn't want to look like she regretted killing people. She only ever had one copy and didn't attempt to distribute it. I have no idea how it survived so long, but was amused that it did.

After a while of playing town leaders, I feel that i have gotten slightly better with interacting as a leader, instead of the classic only talk when I'm needed. Also, a big thank you to the other characters that make it possible and worth while for this one character. Honestly, its probably the only reason I haven't quit yet. Now if only I had the energy to do this with other leaders I have.

I'm always really impressed at myself when I manage to have a character get in a vehicle and take an exit without completely messing it up somehow.

Have to wait four days to post just a small sampling, I just have to say that having finally seen certain characters in action, I pity the[PD edit]for what their boring and fun-hating leader made them all miss out on
Meanwhile I'll just say that it thrills me that a part of Axiom's legacy still lives on in some of the most amazing RP and character concepts that've ever existed in this game.

Can we keep at least that one thread clean of passive-aggressiveness and spiteful comments, please?

Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. He is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

Ha, I called it. It was the ooc behavior that gave it all away. Oh that's funny.

Alutka, I suspect you may not be familiar with the [pd eit] leader, but I don't think she or her player would object to that description.

Are you responding to my post? Not sure what you mean?
Anyway, there was a huge crowd so I have a feeling the RP praise will be rolling in soon. I'm actually a little conflicted on posting samples now because I feel like if somebody is doing something awesome and you want your character to see it, there's an IC solution for that.
Edit: Oh, I just realized you're probably thinking of one of Axiom's other characters. Easy mistake to make, I'm pretty sure the thread she listed them all in was the one, similar to Moonflame's thread now, that full of praise for her RP. (I'm still really bothered the entire thing was completely deleted just because the last three or so posts were considered objectionable...)
But anyway, Axiom's chars were actually the founders of three very different groups all creating RP and enriching the game in unique ways, and all worthy of the 'thrills and amuses' thread.
Part of the reason I'm having so much trouble who to vote for in the top 100 thread. I wish there was a section for entire groups like the Gilded Lily, or at least a category for honorable mentions
Anyway, I haven't had so much fun in Cantr in a long, long time. I know I'm always saying this, but I'm always wishing there were more people having fun and making things happen in this game, and I feel like I just got a glimpse of what's possible when people are willing to be creative with their chars.
Now I need to go grab some caffeine and sit down to read over the event log again while giggling madly. A good way to start the day.

Not at all. lol You all know [edit] by now. Well most of you do.
It's ok Alutka. Those kinds of comments about the [edit] leader have been going on a LONG time. Unfortunately it's a part of the character and just a fact. She is rather fun-hating from time to time and unfortunately her[edit] suffer for it. But hey! They chose the life! lol I'm not upset about the comment about [edit] and I took it more as fact than insult.

The fun-hating comment actually made me laugh. And now you've made me curious where you've crossed the Gilded Lily group before.
