I'm writing this for me, and then I promise I'll let them go.
Riika spawned on Raj in the Sarpecha Hills. The animals toughened her up and gave her an ugly scar. She volunteered to take a trip for limestone, navigating with a friend on foot, by kayak and then by Riicky the rickshaw. When she returned, Numa made her a claymore that would become her companion. But Riika was more of a people person and travelled East towards Dom Hofran where she was told she'd find them. On the way she fell asleep and was pulled back from the brink of death by a furry man who noticed that she'd miswritten the colour of her eyes in a note she wrote during delirium at somewhere between 40 and 97% damage. Kudos. After recovering, she tried to be a peacemaker, keep her options open and be open to suggestions, gathering people from Dom Hofran over many years to travel and form a new town, preferably quite a communist one. Or maybe a band of horseriders that occasionally met in certain places to do symbolic ritualistic stuff that rallied them together, she didn't really mind. Only after reaching her destination with at least 10 people in tow did she realise that this town ain't big enough for the two of us, or something like that. She would have ridden off alone or murdered 1 or 2 of her advisors/friends.
William spawned on Nraam, Teregotha, but ended up calling Sring-Sri home after being there improved his confidence. He spent a bit of time in each town on Teregotha and later sailed at a chill pace eating rye bread that reminded him of home, first on the sloop The Skylark which he made himself, and later on the Due West. Either sailing or Sring-Sri would always be calling to him. He was carefree. He hated sewing and made no secret of it. He wanted to cook loads of rice dishes but got distracted halfway around Cantr island by a pretty raker and some bird-obsessed woman whose name should be on a rum bottle and yet she didn't drink. Had some good times in the land you could sail right through, brought back some penguins, and some obsidian that no one wanted to buy, and that was just fine by me. Fu was going to be next, and then they'd have settled down in a fancy marble house with a million exotic birds. And a robin. He wanted a robin. (And a seagull and a macaw and a pheasant and a dodo, four colly birds, three french hens, two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. Jazzhands!)
Jennifer Finely, known as Jenna, she spawned on Treefeather in the Seatown Hills and walked around a few places, ending up in Silkwood which she inherited probably in her late thirties. She gave up her mandolin for leadership, but there are some alright songs out there somewhere (I would post the good ones on the forums, but you might have noticed by the number of keys and notes on the ground lately that I'm not organised enough to keep copies). She was a weakling and not very good at much apart from collecting the local resources, wooden carvings, burying newspawns, and strangely, rescue missions. Hoax or real, who you gonna call? She turned down some guys and then got seduced by a creepy albino because he was pretty much the only person who ever asserted himself in her presence without being offensive. She ended up as a mother hen figure who grew newspawns and tended them in batches, like potted plants.
Sage spawned in Baaak Hills South and farmed barley for 8 years. No, she wouldn't collect apples, she was already expert at that and everyone knows apple sauce is boring to make. At first Sage wanted to explore, she would have gone to Cantr and brought back loads of rice, except some old guy in town was way too enthusiastic about having her use a longboat for the task. After a while she decided that actually, she didn't want to be anywhere other than nice, comfortable BHS. All those newspawns with their fast heartbeats making them run around everywhere. All those travellers with their funny clothes and their weird hair and their radio stuff. Insufferable, until they've been around for at least 2 years. She found she hated making bottles, so she was going to mix some herbs and look after some livestock for a long time. She was learning to fight with different weapons through tai chi-like exercises.
Kyan spawned in Pok Desert West on Treefeather and everyone had free icecream. He was the king of the fishies and was given the crown to prove it. He went on an awesome holiday to Pok Harbour with his close friend, where everything was blue and the sky was obviously an extension of the sea and clouds are obviously when salt comes out of the sky when it rains. So why doesn't it rain fish too? And whilst we're asking questions, are there dragons in Dragonloft or are they all buried like Josephine says and we have to dig up their scales? Can I dig my own dragon scale? And then can we get Mister Elyos to give me a silver fork, and all of the cheesecake, and we can have that tea party Oscar wanted and fill up his taxi with lemon drops. Actually, let's fill up the whole world with lemon drops, starting with Olip. Cora Stoli says that's how you take over the world. Kyan wanted to get Pepper to make him some cute denim dungarees with baggy legs so he could still RP shuffling on the hems of his trousers and trailing sand everywhere he went. He wanted to make loads of glass jars and fill them with sweets and stack them up in some Olip building, and sometimes go adventuring to visit Lenni and Kirra and Mister Drew and Philis Ma'am, and make even more friends on the way.
But you know, real life. The potential was enough.
Peace!
