'Blocked for 40 days'?

Is someone able to explain this to me?

About the only thing I can think is that I just killed a character since she was attacked by animals in the wilderness and was 'near-death' with no-one around. But why not block all of my active characters?
I'm soo confused!

It's just the time period until that specific character slot can have a new character (if the character were to do). This is done to prevent people from killing off characters and respawning them quickly after.

So I can still spawn new characters (until I reach my limit or the blocked slots) and can play those characters as normal?
Slightly odd thing to appear on the page but if that's all it is then I'll just smile and nod and go along with it

Yeah the timers are specific for that specific character slot. I know the display is a bit buggy but behind the scenes it works as intended.

The way it works is that if you have a character that's under 25 years old when he/she dies, you have a character slot blocked for 40 days and cannot spawn a new character in its place until that timer is gone. But your other characters and unused slots (up to 15) are still open.
