To be fair, my most recently dead character I had started to roleplay being sick. I did the research on how the disease would present and began the process by changing the character description and a bit of roleplay. Unfortunately real life got in the way and I never got to finish playing the disease for what it should have been before the character starved to death. (The disease, iRL when left untreated, leads to death and I was fully intending for this character to die anyway which is why I picked the disease that I did.)

When your character tries very hard to meet them halfway, but there is absolutely ZERO chemistry.

I really, truly wish that anyone who's ever cried salty tears OOC about how they're going to quit the game or kill their char because another char was picking on them was required to just freaking do it.

People who get angry at players over their characters' actions need to take a pill and a few steps back from their computer too.

Just feels like this kind of thing has gotten waaay to common in the game in the last months. Though to be fair I suppose it could just be that I'm repeatedly running into the same few players with no concept of the line between IC and OOC...but it still makes the game frustrating and unfun and ruins situations for everybody in hearing range, not just the chars involved. :/

I must be running in the complete opposite circles... Admittedly like 8 of my 10 active characters are currently wilderness hermits, but still. I haven't seen that kind of behavior lately.

My thing is about being puzzled by Ctrl F in Cantr. It seems moody about finding things for me. It makes me think I'm crazy sometimes in imagining I saw an item in one room, not finding and then going back and forth to others to try to locate it... only to end up manually scrolling through the object list to finally find it without search...hiding in plain sight and not lit up by the search tool. Maddening when I'm in a hurry. I hope it's just me so no one else has to deal with it.

That's a browser issue if it is an issue. Unlikely, anyway, maybe you have it set to capital letter sensitive, or you misspelled it. It's also possible with slow browsers or internet the page didn't load that far yet

Thank you, Wiro. I'll have to go with the browser theory since I always double and tripple check the spelling and caps. Perhaps I should have also explained that it will pick up the word I'm looking for in one place, but not another. For instance, if I search for iron it will find soldering iron or iron tubing or something else which uses the word, but not the big 30k pile of iron in the list above those items. It simply skips right over it. I'll test the browser theory as soon as I have time.

Mine freaks out when I'm typing sometimes, and it ONLY does it on Cantr (or maybe it just does it on chrome but Cantr is the only thing I use enough). It's infuriating, especially when I'm in a hurry.
