I found out, maybe a week or two ago, that two characters are getting married. They both live in a place that my character sorta-considers home, if such a place on land exists for her. I know how the two met, my character ended up picking them both up on other islands and took them where they live now. My character recently returned from a fairly long journey without them, and upon returning home, learned they were getting married.

What amuses me is that I'd been quietly shipping the two characters who are planning to get married, though when they were still sailing with my character there was little evidence of the relationship to be.

So, you shipped them together, and then shipped them together, and now they're together in both senses?

Basically yes. Also that was a wonderful sentence.

My character has been attacked by the wolves repeatedly, nothing happened to him. Now he's being proud and bragging to himself and I'm laughing at this. I like how Cantr can be observed from the outside even though it's your own char.
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.

More like...

"This resentment you feel toward town leaders stems from the suppressed desire to sleep with your own mother and the jealousy of your father."
"But I sleep with both of them and their pet horse all the time already!"

Ya really, I am imagining in certain towns I wouldn't be able to stop there ...just because I'd laugh too hard irl.

Here's something I came across a few days ago:

Here are the symptoms a narcissist may present:

Reaction to criticism with rage, shame or humiliation
Take advantage of other people to achieve his or her own goals
Have excessive feelings of self-importance
Exaggerate achievements and talents
Be preoccupied with fantasies of success, power, beauty, intelligence or ideal love
Have unreasonable expectations of favorable treatment
Need constant attention and admiration
Disregard the feelings of others, and have little ability to feel empathy
Have obsessive self-interest
Pursue mainly selfish goals

...sound like any Cantrians you know?

It's thrilling and amusing to me how in just a few short moments the actions and words of one character yours has never met before can suddenly change your characters complete outlook and plans.

Bound and determined to mark a character off my list. NOPE! Suddenly I find myself unable to do so.
Thank you oh so much interesting person for ruining that plan. Now I'm curious what will happen next and it's all your fault! lol Or er....is it mine for responding? One more character on my short list won't be too bad now?

You are absolutely sure that you've figured out character xyz, and then they throw you for a loop! They do something totally unexpected and then you realize it was all part of their ploy from the very beginning.
