People who use that unreadable cursive font for letters. I can't read it. *tosses the important letter away*

I think the majority of this is that people think that since it is displayed, it a mechanic of how it is displayed in the game world to their characters vs a visual aid for the player.

I have a character who accused someone of having insects crawl across the page with ink on their feet as their handwriting.

It's like everyone collectively decided to get sick.

I've noticed this too, on more than one character. It's like half the Cantr population is simultaneously suffering from mysterious illnesses/exaggerated RL medical conditions and/or mental breakdowns.

I've been kind of wanting to post about such a thing as well.

My problem is really with the physical conditions without a mechanical reason (ie. being attacked by someone or an animal)... Things that are only roleplayed (and not always very well) and would require some kind of specialist knowledge to diagnose/treat, and something other than the available healing food/potions or a basic roleplayed bandage. Yet, these characters make it very difficult for you to not address the issue, unless you're playing some really horrible mean-spirited person that openly doesn't care about anyone but themselves. But it makes me really uncomfortable to have to deal with such things when Cantrian medicine is so weird.
There simply are not enough characters who are played as doctors, and unless the character is lucky enough to know of the existence of one of the few, I'm really not sure how mine are expected to be able to help? :?

I'd just like for those who are needlessly giving their characters these afflictions to take into consideration how awkward it all is and to maybe not force it so much...? If the situation appears to be generally ignored by the characters around you (other than the ones you are specifically getting involved and putting into a position of not being able to turn a blind eye) then maybe it should be something that can just gradually get better by itself with your character maybe just needing to rest somewhere warm and comfortable? Please stop seemingly demanding medical attention that just isn't available... :|

Men who think a cheap present and sleezy words will win a girls heart.

That is annoying/amusing IR too.
“Man sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. He is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

Snowdrop, you put into words what I was thinking. Realistically, these people would die. I don't know about medical stuff and the problem with ignoring it is that you're somehow mean for suggesting honey as the cure for their arm falling off.

On puzzled: many characters end everything they say with an extra space. I finally found out why. Apparently it's an iPhone feature to double tap space for a period and a space. Saves time in the middle, but looks awkward at the end of a sentence. Anyway, mystery solved.

Ha, that's great. It is the foundation of many Cantrian relationships, strangely.

I had a female character try to win a decidedly very vain male over with poetry, a whole new wardrobe and a kilo each of rubies, emeralds, pearls and ivory. She wrote the poetry and customized all of the clothing. So I think she was in the same category?
