From Anony

So I just wanted to take a moment to have a say some words about Brayarb. Things happened the other day, that left me cycling rapidly between baffled, annoyed, and laughing my ass off...and while the latter finally won out, I had misgivings because even more so than the character, the player was clearly upset.

But then something magical happened. Now I'll admit there are certain character 'types' in this game I usually find flat and predictable, and I had been mentally filing Brayarb away as one of these until he suddenly took the situation in a direction I never expected. The player taking what was obviously a very negative experience for them and instead of being bitter or complaining on the forum, using it as a platform to do something truly unusual and unique. I'm as impressed as my character is, and like my character have had to do some massive rearranging of my previous opinions there.

You're welcome. Always nice to be appreciated.

My hat is off as well, to many many characters, but especially to Brayarb. When something happened, I made a judgement and put them in a little box. It was a nice box, but it wasn't very interesting. Then they manned up, broke through it and stepped out as a real person who has done something very very novel. My hat is off, good sir.

Hats off to Adilah's player. I and every character I know at least dislikes her, if not outright hates her, but that in no way deters the player's efforts at solidly RPing her and her personality, no matter the pushback they get. I hate the character but admire the effort.

Ahahahaha yes. The time I was around her, I knew I was being trolled, but it was masterfully done. No desire to ever have my char near her again but I agree the effort put into the RP is something else. If only I had the time I'd be half tempted to make a similar char just to see how far I could push everyone around me.

FROM ANONY

Praise for Libby in Olip. The long sleepy spell had me worried but she's back to being herself again and always a pleasure to have around town and interact with.

I should put some praise in here for Helena too. She's never been one for flashy attention-getting RP, but steady, dependable characters are always appreciated in this world where so many of us are trying to out-snowflake one another.

Praise to Mr. Loreis, Marco, Ms. Angelou and Pepper of Dragonloft. The place has a vastly different culture from any other Cantr town that I've ever seen, and it's mostly thanks to these "bourgeoisie"-type characters. And in addition to playing the high-end of society so well, you all are also able to make your characters interesting! Thank you all so much for making this game unique and enjoyable!
