Oh ya, you think you have problems? You have 3 factions of gremlins fighting, while we have 5 empires of squirls, all trying to overthrow the government, one tree at a time.

Okay, update time. After a 10% return, of approx 550 registered users, It appears America as a whole has sligthly more players than Europe, with almost nobody from anywhere else. So scaling up the results would mean a projected members list of:
So my initially thoughts were more or less correct.
- East coast America - 160 players
West coast America - 110 players (America total 270)
Europe - 200 players
Asia - 0
Far east etc - 10 players
Other non voters? - 10 players
So my initially thoughts were more or less correct.

By the way... the U.S. is NOT the richest country in the world, whether you take cost-of-living into account or not. (Lichtenstein and Luxembourg are at the top of the list, in case you're curious.) Not only that, but there is a growing problem with income disparity in the US; the middle class is shrinking. That means the per capita income rate is boosted by those few who are really rich, which hides the fact that a large portion of the population is actually having a rough time getting by.
Whether Americans are lazy or not, though, I'm not sure. Some of us are. Some of us aren't. But generally speaking--based on the poor people I used to go to school with and the rich people I now go to school with--I'd say wealth is directly proportional to laziness. Therefore claiming the US is the richest country in the world doesn't do much to convince me we're not lazy.

Care to elaborate?
You are too far north to be here and the other ones a southern softie.
Okay, I'll bite, for the second time this post, "too far north"?
Just kidding, I'm in Newcastle, so you are too far north for me to visit by foot or on my motorbike. The other still is a southern softie.[/quote]

The problem is whether this poll is to determine only time-zones; in that case it doesn't determine geographic areas at all. What about South America and Africa? I'm from the southern hemisphere myself, and while I can fit myself into a time zone, that doesn't mean I come from the area listed. Hence I shall sulk and refuse to vote.

Okay so I could have put a few cities/countries as examples, but I didn't. I was really only looking for results by timezone. East/west coast of America was meant to cover both north and south. And if I'd said Europe/Africa would that have been better?
Maybe we'll have a new poll for the continents in the next few days...
Maybe we will...
