Well, this is the first long awaited PD response.
I am merely responding as a member and this is not official PD decision as of yet.
And I will use PD tools to do so.
I will start by closing this thread first...
I would like to refer you first of all to the forum rules as posted by a GAB member, they are 2 years old and you all probably know them by heart. Its not like we are driving a car without knowing where the brake pedal is right?

Including,
You must always be respectful of other members of the forum.
Accusations against other players or staff are not permitted in public forums.
None of the other rules, were breached, and these have been breached by those who should know better.
There are quite a few misstatements that have been made in this thread.
Then clear them up. Can obviously type.
The thing that personally sticks in my craw is that we put out a statement asking for some volunteers to join PD recently. I do not see a single one of our attackers submitting applications.
Bzzzt. Wrong. Was in RD, resigned over this. The focal point of this, is in PD ..... well, ProgD

I was disappointed also that an ex-PD member gave a pretty prescient statement in this thread ...
That post, is from a biased member as well, who is not uninvolved. Their points were wrong, but here's a summis
It seems a bit silly for anyone to be judging (the) handling of a case that’s not even their own
The burden is thus all on player to prove themselves innocent. Everytime.
No matter how much you may like someone’s RP, it doesn’t mean they are playing fairly.
Never been the issue, how good the RP was, and that sounds disturbingly like a private message I sent to staff.
Anyway. Back to Ally
Nope, derision. Have we become so uncivil as a group here?
Yes. You're the soul of politeness yourself here.
So, the issue at hand, is that staff can do as they wish, lock in game accounts with no justification, read the rules as they wish to protect their own characters, not play the rules fairly.
No, I don't wish to take this private. Notice, no names named, no rules breached. However, this, and things like this, have happened before. Now, is a golden opportunity to clean the air. No, not clear. Clean. It's that bad.
