Thought or Rant of the day!!!

In Poland all the mushrooms which have hymenium looking like spongy mass of tubes (like the mushrooms on the foto do) are edible. Well, except for one, which is poisonous, but at the same is so bitter, that there is no way to eat it. So in the worst case you will have to throw away the whole dish.
Snickie, I've met this kind of mushrooms, haha. But believe me, they are nothing like the wild ones. Maybe it's because they grow wrapped in plastic, hmm?

Mushrooms make my skin crawl. But that might be because I am allergic to them.

I've decided that it is high time to go back to shape, so I dusted my exerciser off. The very first day I trained like for 20 minutes and I had billions of reasons why I should stop. The next day I decided that since in the evenings I'm just playing Cantr and doing nothing creative, I can as well exercise and play using my mobile phone. The catch is that I've decided, that I will play as long as I am able to work out. I hoped that it would make me exercise longer and play shorter (as I tended to play late into the night). And... bingo! Suddenly I had enough power to use the bike for one hour. The next day I was able to exercise for 80 minutes (and it was so short only because nothing really interesting was going on IC).

My biggest Cantr fear: addressing someone by what I named them, rather than what their name really is. There's nothing more awkward than addressing someone as "John Greedy" or "Whiny woman".

I now have a stack of index cards an inch thick for a month's worth of material that I'm attempting to learn all in one night before the test in seven hours. I'm only about halfway through the material. Darn Catholics and their fancy Masses. -__-

WHY did I want until the last minute to do this? WHY?!

Because you're a college student, and that's what college students do. Boy am I glad I'm done with school now. I tried really hard to curb the procrastination thing so I wouldn't fail out (my school is lol hard) and did okay for a while, but it all came back with senioritis in my last year.

Thought: I've always thought of Snick the character having a legitimately sweet, fully affectionate side but I've never gotten a chance to roleplay it, not really. At this point I feel like her reputation and personality are so well established and she's been that way for so long that she probably doesn't know how to be sweet and affectionate anymore. That or she was always a strong black-haired woman who don't need no man. Or friends.

I'm a little afraid of what she might have become had she found and exercised that sweet, affectionate side. I don't think she would've ever been anything like Stella before Drake's death, but still...

I spent a good deal of time thinking she was emotionless period until one specific interaction with her.
But sweet and affectionate....I'm mildly frightened. I imagine her sweet and affectionate to be knocking someone out with a club before dragging them and an unconscious saber tooth tiger into her cave.

One of the reasons why I fell for my husband is that his jokes are just horrible and completely not funny, but he keeps telling them anyway. In the end I always die laughing, because he tells them with this smug expression of his. He did it again today:

What is the difference between a wealthy and a poor inhabitant of Florida?
The poor one washes his cadillac on his own.

Seriously... Is here anyone who finds this amusing?

I am a huge fan of terrible jokes, but I don't even understand that one.

Neither do I, and I live in Florida. No. If you want to make fun of the demographics of Florida, at least get the stereotypes right:

* Lots of rich old people on the coasts.
* Rednecks in the center of the state.
* Orlando is full of Brazilian tourists.
* Miami and the Keys are northern Cuba. Except for Key West.
* Everyone goes to Disney or the beach on their days off.

Neither do I, and I am his wife. He explained to me, that the joke means, that even poor people in Florida own a cadillac, and that is apparently funny... for some reason. I kind of stopped trying to understand his jokes years ago.

Snickie, you are aware, that half of those stereotypes are meaningless for people not living in the States (at least for people living in Poland), don't you?
