Something so unbelievably ridiculous and also hilarious happened to one of my characters, and I want to talk about it soooo much but it hasn't been four days yet, argh!

But don't you just love it when someone you don't like, very publicly makes a fool of themselves with no need for you to do anything at all? Image

Having a big dramatic exit ruined by my phone's auto-correct. Heh heh.

How many of you play from your phones? I'm not yet in the smart-phone world, so this is a strange concept to me; but one of the town leaders in one of my characters' towns often says stuff that makes me think, "That's gotta be an autocorrect, right?"

I play from my phone, but I hate autocorrect so I have it disabled. :D

I check with my phone constantly but vastly prefer the computer so I usually only actually phone RP with one char unless there's some emergency. Coincidentally enough, she's the one constantly blurting out weird random words in the middle of sentences.

Almost 95% of my playing is from my Android.

I play from phone or tablet because it's convenient (my desktop monitor fried, laptop is finicky [see shitty] and no longer portable so it tends to be tablet a lot which ugh takes forever because it hates me) but when there's important things to do (stock lists, moving resources, an important meeting, a bunch of projects to set up, or just a lot going on) I go back to the computer.

I really enjoy listening to the radio. Trolls, spam, weird personal conversations playing out on a very public medium, dumb arguments, interesting arguments, stuff that fails all classification...I love it. I'm going to be really sad if the promised radio-mechanic changes stop all or a lot of it.

Radio people: I appreciate you. Keep being you.

I love not having to listen to the radio.

I also love actually being able to play my characters. At least, the three that I actually feel like playing.
(Chances are, unless you're <specific player name> or a Blackrock, you don't know any of them.)

I know I just complained about it in the other thread, but I've always had a weird love/hate relationship with the radio. Lately it's been a bit much even for me, but I'm still enjoying seeing all the characters going around staring at it with dazed expressions. And every time some yells at the radio to shut up or starts going on about how they're going to go after people on the other side of it I can't help but lol because...it's the radio, man, you're wasting your breath. And even if half the people are just newspawns in workshops (or just ONE newspawn in a workshop, as the popular accusation goes...), that's still the one area of the game they're on a level playing field with more established chars, and I never want to see it taken away.

It's a radio, in a game, on the internet. They're wasting their effort at the very first hurdle!

But, double thumbs up, radioland. Just, slowly figuring out who is the one talking, and what their spin on it is. Think a identifying system would ruin that slow detective work fun

And sometimes you get gems like that 'factual featurettes on prominent cities' series, that make all the garbage worthwhile. Or anything Halifax says. I try hard to keep at least one character near a radio at all times, and more if I can manage it.
