Re: Game changes - discussion about implemented changes.
The remaining weapons won't be describable until someone in RD decides to go through that boring list. It took me forever to do it for instruments and roleplay objects. I suppose in order to start changing them, Greek would first have to make a list of the current weapons without descriptions.
As for your list, have a look through this topic and it should have nearly everything. The problem is that many new objects were implemented with descriptions, so they aren't explicitly mentioned as having descriptions. Lucky for you that doesn't apply to weapons. If you want to know about a specific weapon then you can simply look in the build menu of course.

Re: Game changes - discussion about implemented changes.
For now, anyone that notices a particular weapon lacking the option to custom describe them, please open a topic in the suggestions forum. It needs a logical tool (one that is already used for other describe projects like hammer or knife). This tool should preferably be the "most important" tool in the set used to create the weapon (usually hammer or knife).
Please don't use this to request -any- weapons, but ones you specifically want to describe at -this- very moment. It's quite a pain to go through all of them and I don't have the time for that right now. Feel free to use the same method to request descriptions for clothes and furniture that don't currently have it enabled.

Thanks Wiro!
I keep wishing I could join the RD to help out with this kind of thing since it sounds like you guys really have your hands full, but realistically I know I shouldn't take on anymore internet responsibilities at the moment. And just playing Cantr sucks up so much of my freetime as it is!

In a few days. Even enabling the system will take a lot of time, which I'll have on saturday, I hope.

I thought of you when I saw the announcement, BosBaBe
Just wondering, would adding zebras to the list of rideable animals be silly?
I have a character who would love that, but even if not I can think of at least 3 of my other characters who would have the option of this new mode of transport (one would even have a choice of animal!)

I'm sorry for my earlier impatience, looking at all of that made me realize how much I hadn't thought about, like that people could steal your horse. xD;
I do have a question about that though. So when you say only you can ride it, that means others can't even get on it? Or they can get on it but the horse won't go anywhere? It might be funny if the horse actually throws them off, like you get an announcement "You try to get on Geek's Horse, but it threw you off!" xD
Anyways, thanks so much, this is going to be great for so many of my characters!

My understanding is tat other people can get on, that's why they have the lockable saddlebags. No one except whoever the horse is loyal to can control it though so your horse won't be stolen unless someone else adopts it while you're not looking, and is successful.
I would imagine though assuming the horse is capable of holding your weight and a passengers you could have two people, you just have to be the one to make the controls.

Could whatever programming that limits who can control the horse be applied to other things, like cars and harvesters?
(and radios?)

Unfortunately taming cars and harvesters isn't scheduled until robot fighting is implemented.

As wonderful a mental image as that is, you know what I mean. Is a horse checking if it's loyal to the person trying to control it really that different, programming-wise, as a car checking if the driver is holding a key?

Re: Game changes - discussion about implemented changes.
Well, cars sort of do that, when they have locks on them, when the characters get in. But it would be nice if there was some way to prevent back-seat-driving.
