A way back when, I had three spawn in Kwor on the same day. I kept them all for a while. One stayed in Kwor, working as a tailor, constantly indoors. One became a blacksmith Karnon. And another travelled a little, but became a De Dannan.

In the last few years of playing, I've done decent with spawning. For the longest time I played six. Two were on Treefeather, and the others each had an island to themselves.

Annoys: Newspawn whose player is apparently allergic to capital letters and most punctuation except exclamation marks.

Puzzles: I thought the character page was sorted precisely by age, but said newspawn is sorting above my character.

Are you (or the newspawn) in a car/building?

Sure, that seems to be where bug reports are going so I'll file one of those.

It both annoys and puzzles me that there are still so many characters running around without descriptions.

None of my characters have ever visited a swamp, a jungle, a tundra, or a plains location.

That made me chuckle as I remembered taking the wrong turn with a tailor character I once played. He was on a journey to gather silk cocoons on a bike. It was a very long journey, that he had prepared for a long time, making light-weight food and so on. Once he got there he spent years gathering coccoons. On his way back he took a wrong turn and ended up on a dead end in a swamp. He then spotted crocodiles, and had never seen crocodile skin before, so obviously he started hunting them. Almost two years later, he still hadn't managed to kill one of them, and was forced to leave for home almost out of food, as well as seriously injured by croc bites. He still dreamt of all the things he could do with the shiny croc skin, until he was overcome with tiredness and was beaten to death by a helper in the tailoring shop.

This doesn't really annoy me or puzzle me, sorry for being OT.

That's okay, it annoys and puzzles me! That's not even a little bit helpful... Char needs new assistants.

Treefeather again. *grumbles*

The lengths I will now go to to avoid Treefeather: I just started re-learning German so I can spawn a character on a non-English-speaking island.

Just beg for a ride on the first ship you can find heading off the island. There's something like a 40% chance you'll get murdered or enslaved, but at least that's more interesting than playing another character on an island you're sick of.

Yeah, I'm in the process of moving like 3 off that island. -_- Swear the island hates me.
Oh look, another glorious morning… makes me SICK!

I like Treefeather. It's the only island that feels really civilized.
