I'll take any opportunity to praise people I RPed with in 2014! It was only a few months into the year when I quit, but it was great RP! I'll make sure I keep my praise to only the year 2014. I would spread my points equally between these characters.

Amanda James / Aya / Malin
- The Jakara crew. My character Drey loved these individuals for very different reasons. The RP in Jakara was fantastic. It was a small town, but constantly busy making itself better. Amanda is a great town leader and the connection with Drey was very personal. Aya had to be the most patient and understanding character I ever RPed with - fantastic, I miss that RP! Malin, drove my character crazy, but was a true friend and added much drama into Drey's life. :)

Stone Knight Truffles
- My character Surf's mentor, then sister once becoming part of the family. Was a true inspiration to Surf, grew my character and challenged him in his thinking. Was also his love interest and taught him a lot about patience.

Scarlett
- A polish character on the island of Fu. Leader of her town, she treated my quirky character Orand with great affection though he was often a pain to endure in her city. I've said it before in the forums, but I always enjoyed interaction with the Polish! They've got some great RP happening, and are often quite open to English players.

Seraphina
- Loving wife of Brason. 2014 was the time of their traveling together on their honeymoon, and return to their hometown of Tircqi. Faithful to her man despite his terrible temper ... one of the many reasons he adored her.

Lumi
- Leader of Tircqi and dear friend of Brason. One of the few town leaders that actually doubts their qualifications to be one. Adds a completely different dynamic to a city when you have a determined, yet insecure town leader.

Onyx
- Loving wife of my character Stave Stone. In 2014 they finally set out in their own ship they built together. Their dream realized, a life of excitement ahead ... only for Stave to die ... *shakes head* ... sorry! Fantastic RP together ... never needed other characters involved to support their story, they just needed each other.

Lee Holloway
- Adoptive mother to my character Reena. I know some people don't like the 'family' concept in Cantr, but what a fabulous bond it creates. Reena would follow Lee anywhere she would go. She adored her mother and always wanted to please her. She respected no one as much as Lee whom she saw as a strong, intelligent woman. Again, fantastic RP!

Of course there was a bunch of other people that were fantastic, but these characters impacted my characters' lives in substantial ways, and the RP with these individuals is well deserving of praise!

Here is my list for the last six months (a year is asking too much of my memory)

10-Evangeline Wordsmith - The most intriguing character I've met in a long time. I doubt I'll ever understand her.

10-Roses & Zol Easton - You need to take them as a pair, because together they are a work of art

8- Tamsin of Kiii - A young woman thrust into leadership and trying her hardest to do her best. Every town needs someone like her

10-Moth the weapon maker - I'm still pissed off over your death.

2-Faith Crows of Dhung - Most surprising character of the year. Under that ordinary mossy rock was a shiny gem

10-Decklan - Mmmmm, Decklan

Anyone out there playing their characters regularly and consistently, you're all stars in my book.

Okay, here we go.

15 - Dempsey Blackrock - because you're like an f-ing god, and I'm not supposed to tell you that because ego, but I am in love with this character. And originally was going to hands down just give you all my 50 points but was talked out of it in favour of spreading the love.
5 - Vance - because let's face it, you put up with your wife's constant berating in the most graceful manner.
5 - Swiler Bee - Dude, I hardly see you RP out loud, and you fecking blew my mind this year when you did.
5 - Betty (of sjoftich?) - because I seriously enjoyed the small bit of RP with you and with a few words on a few subjects you caused an snowball of feelings, and I doubt you know how rare it was for my char to be that way with someone (nice, lol)
5 - Tops McClintock - because again, I seriously enjoyed RPing with you.
5 - Ben (omeo) - I wish I could still be hating on you. You were fun.
    2 - Luna (omeo) - I just loved you.
2 - Donal - I'm still not sure if you're a simmer or not, but I enjoy you regardless.
2 - Nicolai - You just work and work and I like that. Which sounds weird, but yeah.
2 - Ella (san d'oria) - only because you seriously rubbed my character the wrong way. And got flour everywhere.
2 - Sheila (kwor, or something) - because you were awesome.

15 - Fard, of Darlina/Hawk's Port - not handsome, not good with words, probably a bit simple, but sweet as heck
15 - Thorolf Hedre-Sange - for making my youngest character adore you
10 - Allen Idoni - for accepting my character's harmless delusions
5 - Misha of Zuzi - for being freaking adorable.
5 - Binn Hejj, also of Zuzi - for being hilarious.

Honorable mentions to Fregef of Kiii, Laila Moreno, and Luna Farlight.

I've already used up all my points but I second that Jebrez is a cool character. Very unique.

Is Ben in Omeo dead nowadays? I wouldn't know since I haven't had a character visit in years.

General Ben Grape of Omeo is quite alive and (so he'd have you believe) kicking.

I'm quite pleased to see one of my chars on here :D

1. 10 points to Seven of Alenz Hills. I and one of my character love you to bits, and you deserve all these points for taking all the shit you do and throwing it right back. It saddens me every time my character/s must leave, since I love rp with you so much. I'd give you more points, but if I didn't restrain myself I'd have no points for anyone else.

2. 10 points to Vako Falador of Brunoi, for being an amazing friend and character all around, and that trouble maker that no one ever suspects. That, and you're an overall natural character, no emotes are ever the same, it's refreshing to see, and a joy to respond to. Many brownie points and a Noddy Badge to his player.

3. 5 points to Purple of Brunoi, for being a best friend no matter where my character is in the world. That, and you are endearing, funny, and entertaining to watch.

4. 10 points to Gavriel Rye (deceased), for being the best partner any of my characters have ever had. He matched her so well, it was like they truly were made for one another, right down to appearance and dreams. He is dearly missed. Not only that, but he was brilliantly rped.

5. 10 points to Boo of Naron Forest (deceased), for being the sweetest daughter and child character I've ever come across. You weren't like all the rest, not like any I've seen. Genuinely child-like and endearing, not wanting for anything but your father and mother. And god almighty, do they miss you. I really did cry the day you passed away.

6. 5 points to Elyos of Klojt, for being a great character in general. I personally found him annoying at first, but then he grows on you the more you rp with him. He's doing an amazing thing with the university, and he does a great job at keeping the ball rolling. Keep it, as I'm certain there are many characters who appreciate your efforts and rp talents.

Here is my list also with some mentions. I sincerely thank everyone with active chars. There are so many names worth mentioning and praising upon, unfortunately this is just a limited post.

1- General Ben Grape 8
For he never moves from his rp point even for a bit. *Blows a kiss *

2-Laila Moreno 7
Bitter sweet town leader, most wonderful person if you are at the right side :P

3- Sigad Heir 6
For he is able to spend days just by talking of silliness

4- Tessa Della Rosa 6
For she is really multi dimensional and creative, best friend and supporter for years.

5-Winifired 6

Miss her already, angelic sea spirit and musician.

6-Elyos Vicarius 5
For being very diplomatic , but also never dropping the hidden blade from his eyes.

7-Thorolf Hedre Sange 4
Such a wonderful son and Pirate Prince.

8- Hillie 4
Just because she takes after her mom and tortures General . :P

9- Brom 4
Because sometimes smallest things keep big space in the hearts.

Honorable mentions go to .
The one and only Drama Llama , Mykola ( Hope he is fine) , Coventina (May she reign long and prosper), Gold-Eye ( Gentle bard) , Raddock (incomparable ), Eska ( little, cuddly thing), Vivec ( A true friend and funny man), Herman ( Very vivid and well rped with his handicap), Evangeline Wordsmith ( She is just... ), Corey. ( Miss her mess lots ) Kylan Gibson. ( The one who doesn't allow bunions), Sidney in Xanth ( Very briefly known this char, but I felt something familiar in his mind), Xander Easton ( Fork mate).
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.

I have not been here very long, but here are some characters that have really impressed me. The majority of these are all from one of my characters, but I can't help that everyone in that area is so wonderful!

Glenn Greene (10)
Always active, always a joy. I think I've known him for only a week or so now, but he's great. And the banter between him and my character makes for great comic relief!

Tamsin (14)
Kind, overwhelmingly supportive, caring, and my character's best friend. I think my favorite part about her is her subtle emotes that make you wonder, "what is she really thinking?" Keep doing what you're doing!

Fregef (13)
A great rolemodel for my character. All of the philosophical discussions are awesome. Fregef thinks so thoroughly into every detail of his projects, it's amazing.

Misha (13)
Such a sweetheart! I can't imagine ever playing this character, personally. How can someone possibly be able to be so unconditionally cheerful? That takes dedication and a lot of willpower. He's perfect.

Jordan - Such a great character. Though, more of my characters seem to despise you rather than love you, it's great seeing both sides of the character. Very well rounded. (5 points)

Kinscem - Although a bit of a sleeper lately, always enjoy the RP with him. (10 points)

Fritz - Absolutely lovable character. Amazing RP to witness even when I'm being a bit sleepy, reading the interaction with everyone else is always a joy. (5 points)

Zoey Walker - Always heard drama on the radio of the character, but she's so lovable. My character would be lost without her. (10 points)

Kosmo of Midgar- For all the trouble we get into. (5 points)

James Hughes - Always something new with you. (5 points)

Lucian Altomontis - Such a balanced character from the start. Really do enjoy all the RP with you. (10 points)
Oh look, another glorious morning… makes me SICK!

Litta Mann - This was her worst year, but very good character before she fell asleep. (5 points)
Elyos - I'll add my vote to Elyos as well. (5 points)
David Everhart - He's very diligent and ambitious and really puts a lot of effort in. (15 points)
Coventina - Always a good leader of a successful town as far as I can tell. (5 points)
Sheila - I agree with what's been said. (5 points)
Boneman - After all these years he still plays well his part. (5 points)
Lonicera - Good roleplay and good leadership. (10 points)

Someone asked me to anonymously post this. (Some formatting done by me)

  • Zol Easton, aka Neil Gaiman of Cantr. Every single word so deep, and the story still fresh as it was on day one, as it is now on year 4 (and counting). The one who makes it feel all real, worth every tear, fight and frustration. 20 points.
  • Xander Easton, the bright ray of sunshine, whose mere presence brings a smile to my face. I still can't get over just how alike they are as siblings, even down to their appearance, personality traits and skills!10 points.
  • Luna Farlight, who always makes me laugh out loud, and appreciate the bond such different characters can form. 10 points.
  • Marlie Sunrise, the only one who can still command love after treating you like a puppy, welcoming when she wants a play; cold, careless and indifferent when bored, shoving the puppy away. The consistency over the decades is worth 10 points.
The honourable mentions: Faith Crows and Amos for keeping everything going in a place all stands still.

Time for my own personal list :)

10 points for Countess Marlie Sunrise of Nraam
For being so consistently well played, stubborn, and still so willing to make changes after starting over and over again. For keeping the ideas and the plans coming, and not giving up after one fails.

10 points for Nimue Goldeneye of New Xanth
For her patience, her duality and for the way she keeps to her beliefs in a world where it's not standard at all. For her love and warmth. And for her innocence that she shows often.

8 points for Arianna of KMN
For being the best friend, her trying to divide her time between so many, and somehow not collapsing from that. For her strong sense for justice, and her general amazingness.

5 points for Coventina Ginnie of Klojt
For being the best leader I have met so far. For her business sense, and her moments of weakness too.

5 points for Baroness Ivy Joy of the Silver Queendom
For holding on through difficult times, and for refinding her mind.

4 points for Lumi Canta of Tirqci
For trying hard at leading, even if everyone, including herself, can see she´s not the right person for it, and for being cheerful for most of the time doing it.

4 points for Tessa DeLa Rosa of New Xanth
For being alive for such a long time, for being silly, making fun, and just generally making me laugh

and last but not least:
4 points for KC (Kashmirae Covack) of Klojt
For being so sweet, innocent and shy in a not-little-cute-girly way, for trying her best to keep everyone happy, and for holding on, too.

Honorable mentions for... everyone else rp'ing and awake, keeping the game alive :)

I'll post all anonymous posts in the next post, tomorrow morning probably. There's pretty much 9 hours left to vote!
