I can't believe I've never heard that version?!
I've listened to Placebo for years... Baffled. Thank you both.

Re: What music did you listen to today?
I was trying to write a speech from the point of view of a pagan trying to sublevate the serf against their seignior and abbot to stir things up in a game, and after a bit of juggling with "diezmos" and "alcabalas" this song popped into my mind. Sad to think that things haven't changed that much from the Middle Age to now.
Of course, then I got swept away by a Mago de Oz spree.

Tomorrow will be the third time I have seen these people in concert.
I don't care who you -think- you have seen... I have probably seen them too.
This tops them -all- as far as 2-3 hours of your life well spent.
If you like concerts...rock and roll or heavy metal... you want big explosions and lots of lasers and talent.
You owe it to yourself and a special friend or two to get to this.

Did you hear the Jessica Lange cover in American Horror Story? I kinda like it.

I have mixed feelings on that. I was ready to dislike it, but I don't know if it's because I adore Lange or what but I enjoyed it and found it really fitting.

Kevin Moore - Roll Away The Stone
Wake up, darling, don't you hear the phone? No one's gonna make you go alone.
She don't know what's happening, she don't know what's happening.
Everything you dreamt about tonight is gonna help you get through this alright.
She don't know what's happening, she don't know what's happening.
The angels in your head went kind of cold on you last night.
How are you supposed to make it right?
Roll away the stone.
Life calling, night falling, I'm already gone.
Wake up, darling, and roll away the stone.
Watch me float out from the sea.
Moon is you and you are me.
This is all you need to know.
Something passes let it go.
Life calling, night falling I'm already gone.
Wake up, darling, and roll away the stone.
Life calling, night falling, I'm already gone.
Just wake up, darling, and roll away the stone.
"She could make something sound stupid just by hearing it.”
