In other news, I have realized the irony that happens when I, a Star Trek fan, mention that birthdays are just a marker of how many times you've been around the sun. Since the members of the U.S.S Enterprise travel around suns/stars quite periodically, that definition would make them obscenely old. But they're not, at least not all of them. So now I shall have to say that birthdays are a marker of how many complete revolutions the Earth has made around the Terran sun (the Terran System is the official name of our solar system in Star Trek) since the date of your birth.

Great. Some stupid wanker set off the fire alarm (spuriously) on the train so we're sat outside the town I'm heading to, and my course is starting in a bit. Having been up till 5.30, I am not amused at all. How inconsiderate some people can be is beyond belief. What a tosser.

Edit: Aaaand... Now on the way back, the train service has been terminated after half an hour. Waiting for the next train. Wtf is it with the trains today?

I spent about three days drawing a huge picture in Photoshop, for a contest, and so far it has only 14 views and no favorites. I was wondering if it's too unusual. In the sketching stage it was originally a guy but developed into a woman.
