Good, since that can be quite troublesome expecially if crowbars are in that building

Having people go through a single sleepy spell and then never wake again. -_-

These characters who have eyes red from crying in their description for the last ten Cantr years puzzle me. That happens surprisingly often. I'm guessing people just forget they ever put it there.

From what I have seen, an at least equally plausible theory is that the character has actually been miserable for ten years on end.

I guess it's true in some cases, but ten years of crying is a long time to be miserable. There's also other characters who are "always cheerful and happy" who are anything but that.

I don't bother to get rid of descriptions like smiley or excitable in my character description when my character's sad if everyone around knows why they're sad and has known them long enough to know they're usually cheerful and I don't expect it to last long. I suppose I probably should in case of newspawns or visitors.

I also tend to leave mood descriptors alone if I expect the character to return to the mood described by default after some episode that contradicts it is over.

Characters who are completely insensitive to your character's feelings, leave without saying goodbye or lie to them and then disappear, then you have to listen to them, through all your other characters, whine about how they miss people and they didn't get a proper goodbye. On one hand it's like, well good, now you know how it feels jerk, and on the other hand it's like, just shut up you hypocrite, you care about no one why should anyone care about you? It's like, either be an unfeeling robot or be sensitive and human, but don't flip-flop between the two because you don't know what to do.. I can't even take those characters seriously, who act like they don't see and hear you or they don't care, and then in another town they're all chipper and personable, it's like these people are shut down unless someone they're sexually attracted to is in earshot and then they suddenly have a personality to show off, but when the sexual interest's not there, good luck getting any RP or personality out of them.
Same thing with all the newspawns who decide in one day they hate such-and-such town, go straight to a town they do like and stay there, as if they magically knew where they wanted to be already (like that's not OOC..), then proceed to tell the people there that they were mistreated or ignored when they were the ones who refused to answer anyone, or they broke the law and think they were the ones wronged, or tell people that town was too sleepy when you know for a fact everyone there was wakeful and this jerk only waited an hour or so before leaving so what do they know? It's hard for me to RP with those characters because I know they're a liar and a drama queen and I don't want my character to be friends with them knowing they'll probably leave that town and go somewhere else and tell them how my character who was nothing but sweet and generous was somehow making them uncomfortable or feel unwelcome, usually because the /player/ is bored with the town and can't find an IG excuse other than to make things up, then it's insulting to me because, why do I have my characters try to be nice when people are gonna go spread rumors to justify leaving for no reason? Should I just ignore all newspawns to avoid being attacked or betrayed for trying to help them, because the player already has an idea of where they want their character to be, has no interest in the town and there's no point in RPing with them? Because that's what it feels like to me more than half the time.

Re: Things that annoy or puzzle you about Cantr
Most of them are or have been in love, but I don't ignore every character except the one my character is in love with, I RP like a normal person and my characters are in-character and consistent, and I also don't send my characters to other towns they shouldn't even know about specifically so they can "bump into" a character I like as a player and try to get into a relationship with them, which is actually really obvious, for all the people who think they're being subtle. Even if I have the chance to go OOC and set it up, I let it play out and just hope what I want to happen happens, but not at the expense of everyone around my character. I thought that was against the rules but everyone does it now and it's annoying and takes all the point out of RPing because a character is only a character around their loved one and an empty shell to everyone else. It's the worst trying to play around those characters.

There's plenty of people who share your view, and while all the jerks are off humping each other we'll be left with the real characters. (:

Lol I often wonder if this isn't how my one character comes off to other people. But I'm online reading every day, and active when needed. They just... like to keep to their own, or just them and their love lol.

The recipe for healing potions puzzles me. The mixture is four parts herbs, and then one part liquid. It would be more of a healing mush, wouldn't it?
