Praise to those whose emotes are that vivid.

I can't think of recent examples, but will post when I do.

Vako Falador is one of these characters, he seems so natural, no emotes are the same, he'll do delightfully odd things like scratch behind his ear or something, real life things you don't see in Cantr. I wish I could roleplay like that, I try to make it as diverse as possible, but like most players I default to the "smile, grin, smirk, giggle, chuckle" rinse and repeat, mostly when I have no idea what else to put there because my brain will get lazy. *sigh* Working on it though.

Doug mentioned Rose of Baaak in another thread and brought her to mind. I dont usually like to comment on the bad guy characters because I don't know how the players really feels about that, but this is one that does a great job at playing the bad type. You have to be good to have so many characters to not like yours haha. I've encountered several in game that doesn't like Rose. Kudos to the player.

So funny, I've had a character who just adored Rose of Baaak.

Rose is homophobic. I sure hope it's just roleplayed and not an aspect of the player.

I've not seen much of Rose but she always came across as a very nice person to my character. Same with Laila Moreno who was in the scary town leaders list where Rose came up.

It does bother me some when a character has an essentially changeable trait I would consider very negative which I'm aware some people wouldn't notice or would think is acceptable, and I'm not sure if it's intentionally a part of the character or if the player thinks the character is flawless in that aspect.

I'd describe Laila Moreno as both scary and kind. I find her leadership style really interesting, actually. In fact, now that it's mentioned, I think the player deserves praise for her. She's very consistent, and very believable.

Daisy Lu Rolfe's player for resilience. Keep on going, your town will get there.

I must give Mykola a shout out though I haven't seen him in recent months. I kind of feel bad that I didn't have more to offer Akypor, but he was always there picking up the pieces.

Cats. I don't really know this character but what I did hear of him was unique.

Two guys in Jaimstown who were there when some others had gone away on a ship. Samuel?/Samual? and A really old man who remembered tales of old times. Anyone know the name? Jaimstown was an oasis on a mostly-abandoned island of strained RP.

Samuel yes, and the second would be Nader =) Mine was one of the ones who were away and I agree.. Jaimstown is an oasis, and people like Samuel and Nader make it that way, which is why those who went on the expedition promised to come back, it's a good place to live even if it is a bit set apart.

On that note I'd like to also praise Jonas of Jaimstown, because he always deserves praise, he's so self-sacrificing, and all he cares about are his friends. He's most of the reason my character even still lives on Aki.

I'd also like to praise the characters in Jamistown - both past and present. Nader and Samuel are great, even though I can tell their players don't have a ton of time to devote to the game. I have also enjoyed the RP of Lynx and Chiumbo as well. I also enjoy some of the characters who live in the other more sparsely-populated parts of Aki... I know it has to be hard on that island, especially in other parts. The hearty "pioneer spirit" of characters on Aki is great for those who don't just choose to give up and die.
