Colour choice for Cantr...

Postby formerly known as hf » Wed Oct 20, 2004 4:13 pm

Now, don't get me wrong, I like green... (and have had a growing attraction to it for some time now...) But...

How about a choice of colours? Would it be too difficult to implement?

Mmmm... Cantr in neon Pink...

green is a nice relaxing colour which helps curb outbreaks of ingame violence and ooc anger :P

plus cantr without green is like breathing without air: it just doesn't work!!

when it comes to the cantr color scheme, we're all traditionalists.

CANTR IS GREEN!
If I saw a blue, or red, or purple, yellow, gold, cream, beige, orange, pink, white, black, grey, or brown screen when I signed in to check on my characters, I would consider myself colorblind and go insane. Cantr is not any other color. Cantr is just, has always been, will always and forevermore be GREEN!

Cantr is green.

It will stay GREEN.

It'll be GREEN FOR EVER!

Ahem.

Ask Anthony if you want to make yours specifically a different colour, he apparently uses some heretical program which converts received web pages he looks at to another colour...

Nice idea, but there's really tons of more important things to do than the color of the interface.

Just so you know, your eyes don't really like bright colors for too long. So, if you had like yellow you might like it for a while but then after a while you would get really annoyed and start spending less time playing...and I'm sure you don't want that.

Damn right. Green is a great colour and all, but sometimes, you just don't want to see it. I like red, personally, so I have this nice program that - after the webpage loads - it searches for the HTML colour code and converts it to another HTML colour code locally. So, my Cantr is red, and errors are yellow :)

I hope you don't mean a "real" red. Yeesh, how could you stand the brightness? My eyes hurt just thinking about it.
