Few of my chars keep feeding sleepers, and I know or I think at least one player isn't banned. My character is content about keeping that person fed and alive. About others, I feel little uneasy and disturbed from their presence. My chars can't quit counting on them , they miss them and they hope they will wake up. My being annoyed as player doesn't change anything since characters have their own mind. I think banned accounts must be closed and characters must have heart attack.
Some bans are temporary though.

If PD is certain it will be a permanent ban. It would be nice if they would go ahead and kill off the players characters. I once had a character put in an awkward position because someone was banned. I was just lucky that I knew it happened from events here on the forum. If I had not known my charrie would still be stuck in a desolate place trying to feed the banned character. Maybe a bit of a crb on my part that I let the charrie starve because I wouldnt normally do that, but figured it wasnt fair for me to be punished and not be able to advance in the game because someone else broke the rules.

There was a reason this was ceased, but it is being looked into as being possible restarted in instances of banned players.

Thank you Cdls. Just a small issue but sometimes it happens. I trust you will make the best move in interest of the game and players

Maybe retook at the option of letting people choose to have a character killed off but only under strict circumstances like I mentioned above. Of course in selective suicides like this, the circumstances should be strict.
And personally also I would think characters being spawned and the player not liking the location and deciding to let them sleep to death or something along those lines is also a form of a CRB. Its basically Ooc influence effecting ic for everyone around the character. If you seriously do not want the character then be creative. Be a bad guy. Or run off into the wilds to get killed. I saw a post where people put together these grand plans before they even hit the created character button. I've learned long ago not to do that. I only preplan now what sex I'll be. Once I spawn I take a look around. See where I'm at, how strong I am and start improving a character. Granted I understand not everyone is great at improv. But try it sometimes. You'll be less disappointed in your characters

Ugh -.- Handing a key to someone to lock the door, but forgetting to unlock it first so you're locked in

And this is why almost every character in Cantr carries a crowbar on them at all times... A little different than in the real world, when padlocks aren't such a threat to our ability to stay alive.

Re: Things that annoy or puzzle you about Cantr
When your character dislikes a person, yet you get the feeling like you shouldn't express it in game because the other player might just be making the character obnoxious in rp while being alright themselves behind the scenes. Yet you can't help wondering does the other player think their rp is a joy to watch or do they realize how awkward it makes people feel. In real life there are plenty of unpleasant people I would rather avoid, so why do I feel guilty for not liking everybody in Cantr? It must be because they're characters, and do not always represent the player behind them.

If I had to feel guilty for not liking everyone, I would have to die of guilt.
Someone once said that it was funny how one's perception of their own chars differed from how others view them. Absolutely true. A certain char who fancies himself to be a ladies' man... I forgot the amount of times I thought of him as nothing more than a sleazy git devoid of any charm every time I came across him or the sickly sweet, innocent girls who you know get up to dirty stuff that would put your kinkiest char to shame, etc. If my char has an ig reason to dislike them, fine, that will be reflected in their rp, unless they are the sort to avoid conflict or too polite to say something, etc. If not, I'll grin and bear it.
In any event, I don't consider any traits I don't like in chars as pertaining to the players, though, and I would hate to be judged by my chars' behaviour. Which one would you base your judgment on, anyway (the answer is the jaded one, by the way, but that's besides the point.

Re: Things that annoy or puzzle you about Cantr
I agree that it can be really, really fun (and sometimes quite surprising) that difference between how the player perceives their own characters and how they are perceived by the ones surrounding them. This could easily lead me to rant about godmodding descriptions, so I'll stop it here
And also the conflict between the character's and the player's feelings can be fun. When your character dislikes another character but you enjoy deeply the interaction with him/her or how the player portraits it and it leads to a sustainable adversarial roleplaying that can be really fun. Actually, looking back, some of my favourite interactions were of that sort.
It can also be frustrating at times when you really dislike a character but your character is unable to dislike anyone (I'm struggling with that at the moment and it's a bit of a pain in the arse to roleplay at times... this leads me again to think about starting a thread about things that annoy you about your own roleplay), but it can also be challenging.
When it comes to traits, I never link the character traits to the player, regardless if I find those traits attractive or repulsive. Might be because I don't care at all about the player behind the character. I want to believe that most players don't take it personally if another character (or even the player) doesn't like their creation(s). If we were able to please absolutely everyone with our writing we'd be all selling books. I have ooc contact with very, very few players, and most of them are former players actually; and the few occasions when we've chatted about Cantr or our characters, there's been conversations along the lines of "Was that one yours? I hated him/her with all my guts. Now let's go grab a couple of beers and watch the basketball game". I sincerely hope that my characters' actions or feelings don't hurt anyone oocly, but I've crossed that line when I used to surrender to certain emotional blackmails that only limit your play.

What is a European accent and why do so many characters have it? I guess this is how Africa feels.

Must be the same thing as that southern accent one keeps seeing everywhere.

I spotted a guy with an unspecified 'English accent' once, and deliberately imagined it as a mixture of Yorkshire, Liverpool, BBC/RP and East Midlands. I suspect that made him a lot funnier to me than the player intended.
