Spent the day thinking how I couldn't wait to get home and check on my charries only to get home and be mentally drained and not able to get into character mode and do anything.

This last week and a half has been retarded. I want things to go back to normal

I love how I can get sore spots (not canker sores) on my tongue after eating gluten. Or something particularly acidic that isn't necessarily fruit.

One can store a lot of things in a spoon. I've had a lot of fun in the past passing things to people hidden in a spoon. I think the wooden spoon is my favourite Cantr object.

Well I'd say that if the spoon is large enough to hold that many things, then using it as a sparring weapon isn't as ridiculous as some characters make it out to be.

So I somehow managed to get a weekend off from work, so I'm going to get my fur baby kitty from my friend (Man have I missed my fluff ball)..
So I get to work for my Friday and I swear this place hates me.. Within 10 minutes of getting here I spilled my coffee all over the video surveillance equipment. Get it all cleaned up and thankfully no damage was done but now I have spent the night dealing with truck drivdrs who barely know what they are doing. How hard is it to open your trailer doors so I can look inside? *grumbles* Three more hours of this crap. Oh and the lovely moment when my shift supervisor shows up just as I was about to close the gate so I could go use the restroom. There was an hour wasted there.. Can I go home yet?

I just realized... whatever the game uses to set the skills/strength of a given character, did so exactly how I would have liked for one of mine.

I've got a girl whose idea when I was spawning/planning her was "fox", and... it turns out that not only is she 'weaker than average' but she's also a good hunter, fighter, and fisher.

Now, the thing about foxes in stories, usually, is they're not the strong ones. They're the tricksters and the clever ones. So when my character's got skill but not strength, and then the fishing lets her get a food source that's fairly wild-seeming to me... I am pleased.


I just realized that this may be spoilering one of my characters if anyone reads this who's in her area... but I don't really care whether people know my characters are mine or not. *shrug*)

And... the character generator has once again decided to be surprisingly appropriate. I spawned a character who, as far as I can tell, is secretly a puppy, personality-wise. And what do I find out today but that she's an expert at digging?

Long, busy weekend and I finally have a moment to myself.

Wednesday I was contacted by the resident assistant about changing rooms. Thursday I agreed to it and started planning for the weekend. Then Friday I started packing up my stuff immediately after classes, barely got to eat even. Then rehearsal, then I had to ride over 30 miles away to a gig, and after the gig I didn't get home until 11:30, and I probably went to bed (read: kicked out the cat) after 1. Got up this morning at 6:30am, went to breakfast with the parents, drove back to the university and began moving stuff to my new room. Which, I should add, is on the third flipping floor of a different building. So it's 90 degrees out (yeah, it's been cooling off a little), humid as <naughty word>, and I'm lugging stuff up and down three flights of stairs (I have to climb stairs to get to the entrance of the hall). When that's done, my mom and I sneak off to have lunch, and then I had to play at the football game tonight (MOAR STAIRS) and we ended up losing but only by 8 points and it was a high scoring game so it was kind of exciting. Anyway, I just got back, at like 10:15pm. I want to sleep, but the walls are thin and people are obnoxious....

On the bright side, I don't have to wake up so early tomorrow.
