Favourite custom descriptions

Postby *Wiro » Tue Jun 10, 2014 10:36 pm

I don't believe we have a topic for this currently.

Share the custom descriptions you especially like here. Be it clothing, weapons or a building. Or a doll, since the latest update has those.

I'll start. I noticed there's a weapon smith or something that keeps making weapons with snow leopards engraved on the blade. I love the kind of consistency with which it seems to be done.

That would be Amica in Shortinazy who does the snow leopard thing. It's very cool that she does this and I'm proud to say one of my characters has a weapon customized by her.

Totally showing who my charrie is now but ah well, this is her outfit:

Blazer - Chic and sharp cream blazer made of fine wool with two buttons to close the front, yet is fashionably worn open. Styled sleeves are pulled 3/4 up both arms. JM

Hemp tunic - White sleeveless, light tunic that boasts a feminine, relaxed silhouette with a deep scoop neckline. Gathered draping at front offers sophisticated elegance. JM

Leather pants - Premium, black luxury leather, low-rise pant leggings hug close to fit slimly upon the feminine form. Cuffs are cropped above the ankle to show off cleavage. JM

Leather pumps - Smooth, elegant creamy black leather pumps with pointed toe, low-cut vamp and high heels. With refined silhouette boasting golden leather lining and outsole. JM

Leather bikini top - Sunglow yellow leather bikini top made of ultra soft and supple buckskin. With adjustable fit, and ties at the front and back, the neck strap is comfortably thick. This triangle top is finished with subtle ruched cups and a sweet center bow. JM

Leather bikini briefs - Matching sunglow yellow leather bikini bottom made of ultra soft and supple buckskin. Low rise with moderate back coverage, featuring playful, sassy side ties, this fully lined bottom makes for smooth silhouette. JM

Oh, man. One of my characters would be so interested in JM clothing, if he knew about it D;

I also love JM clothing, since most know who my charries are, here's her selection of clothing made by the studio. :)

long-sleeved sweater dress - Finely knit ivory v-neck cable patterned sweater dress stops short above mid-thigh. Relaxed fit at top, the ribbed skirt clings shapely to the hips and legs. JM

thigh length boots - Sleek black thigh high boots with stiletto heels, crafted from richly pebbled premium leather with a classic fold-over cuff and metal buckles down the sides. JM

silk dress - Shirred detail sculpts the corset bodice with a sweetheart neckline of this mint green luxe silk ethereal dress. A high-low hem seamlessly flaunts a long train in the back of frayed ruffles, creating a glamorous illusion of feathers. Shoulders bare, layers of chiffon sleeves fall around the arms like elegant drapes. JM

denim shorts - Low-rise blue denim shorts with faded medium wash, faint whiskering and 2” inseam. Lightly frayed hems and subtle destruction boast stylish lived-in comfort. JM

The silk dress was custom made as to what the character desired, it's my favorite, and looks STUNNING. xD I want a dress like that in RL. Off-the-shoulder sleeves are also one of my favorites.

Is just signing JM a legitimate addition to the description? I understand that people want to claim their works but shouldn't it be "embroidered JM", "the letters JM are sewn on" or at the very least "signed JM"? Not trying to get someone reported, just looking for clarification. I'm trying out a fashion character myself and would love to use less of the character limit for the brand!

I think with the character limit for clothing descriptions an allowance could be made and just assume that those initials are stitched somewhere. Why waste precious space describing your brand mark/logo? Unless the location or design is something you want to make significant.

The character limit is a pain. I understand the need for it (sort of), but I wish I could go into more detail with some of this stuff. And I also just want to be able to add resources to the items. Wah D;

I was thinking how cool it would be to describe a primitive fur cloak as a bear's pelt or a leopard's pelt wrapped around the neck by its paws.
