Pancakes harder to make on land

I noticed that pancakes are harder to make on land (only small fire pit, 200 grams a day) than they are on a ship (deck grill, 800 grams a day). Is this intended or is there perhaps another type of machinery that allows making pancakes at the same rate on land?

I think pancakes on land are 200 g in 2 hours. So same speed as on a ship.
