LOL Yes, please add that! I can't understand why people have to starve when there's tons of dead meat on the ground in the form of corpses.

another interesting thing that could come of this is a group could hold a man on the ground and put a wedding dress on him or hold a woman down and steal all her jewelry

Just the other day I was thinking that we already have fur bikinis, silk stockings, leather boots and... what about whips?

Just in the spirit of this thread, you know. *coughs*

They are being subtle and trying to tell you there ARE whips in Cantr already.

Paddles, well, that will come when they break down some boat projects...

999-9 You see a man in his thirties give some wood to a woman in her twenties.

Again, possible and possible to intrepet very wrongly...

*hangs head* Uh yes, I saw... Um I meant that when I first copied and pasted the list of weapons into my notes I must have skipped out that last line. Uh... so... well then... yes...

I know, leashes, forcing the leashed person to follow the holder wherever they go! Chain gangs! Gagged chain gangs, put the annoying to work!

How about stockades? Then add tomatoes, or bows, and you have a reason to gamble!

You see Maximus (stone knight of olip) say "Hey bob, now that the thief is locked in the stockade and continues to taunt us, how many shots of this recurve bow do you think it will take to kill him?"

You see Bob (trader) say "Put me down for 5 days of potatoe gathering on 8 shots."

You see Francis (clothes maker) say "I've seen Maximus with that recurve bow. 8 days of carrots on 5 shots."

You see stole sledgehammer and bellows say "You idiots. You won't kill me so quickly"

You see Maximus (stone knight of olip) shoot stole sledgehammer and bellows with a recuve bow.

See the appeal?

You know, stocks are a great idea, how come no one's thought of them before? Public humiliation would actually be a nice alternative to hitting or killing people for minor crimes. :D

But while we're talking about restraining people, how about a way to simply knock those thieves senseless and haul them back to town for a trial? The unconscious character would be unable to move or speak until the next hour, making it possible for even one person to tie them up or drag them somewhere.

And speaking of trials, I want the option of building a nice, friendly gallows in the middle of the town square... :P

And you know...I definitely suggested the gallows before. But think about the balance issues with the cantr violence system. Especially combined with the annonymous dragging...

I have to agree with that. The other bonds sound great, but a gag would render that character virtually unplayable (assuming they're bound as well). That just isn't fair to the player.
