Is anyone familiar with the J Peterman Catalog? Something like that for a fashion section would be great.

Re: What would you like to see in the Cantr Webzine?
We have set up a Cantr Webzine (Wordpress) a few months ago on the Cantr server. It is not yet decided how things will be run though. All the old data is still around (we slavaged the database from the old Webzine), we haven't really investigated how hard or easy it would be to import it to a new webzine. If it can be done automatically with some script, or if it has do be done manually, one article at a time.
@*Wiro: I don't mean to shoot you down here, just saying. If you want to build a layout and stuff, please go ahead. But for completeness sake, a webzine should be in the control of the people who controls the game (backups, server moves etc), even if anyone (potentially) could be an author of the webzine.
I also thing that the PR department should be "owners" of it.

Re: What would you like to see in the Cantr Webzine?
While I agree with EchoMan that anything in official capacity should definitely reside with the core game server, the fact that there has been no official comment regarding the revival of the Webzine until Wiro suggested something would indicate either it being a low priority, or a lack of manpower to get it done.
I suggest that Wiro run with the idea and label it as unofficial in capacity, and if it grows, then discuss the possibility of incorporating it into an official capacity.

On May 20, 2014 Kendo requested a message to the players about the webzine be translated. On May 23, 2014 Wiro created this thread. My suggestion is that Kendo's message be posted right away now that it's been translated into the main languages.
And we want to work with the players. Wiro's welcome to help, especially if he wants to join the PR department again.
We still need a design.

Re: What would you like to see in the Cantr Webzine?
The other topic is two years old and was revived two weeks ago. I'm glad go see there are those in staff that share my interest in getting the webzine started up again. Just hope that if there is no one in staff to do it, they will let us know as there are others, myself included, who are willing to help.
I'm not sure what my role in this will be, but I'm sure it will sort itself out in the next few weeks. I must add that I have no interest in becoming a permanent part of the webzine - I just want to help it get started up again.

I'd say regularly, but I know myself, so... Maybe once or twice...

To all of you who wanted to help, you can start showing your ideas about the header of the webzine:
Webzine (1)
Webzine (1)
