I remeber there were some pirate attacks a long long time ago in Olipifirovash forest, back around 900, I think. A boat could have been stolen then.

Or a Stone Knight could have gone rouge.

Who knows? If you got a name and have any lue where the stone knights are, you might be able to figure out an answer, otherwise, run in terror.

It was Dominika and Durian Blackstone. They sit on the water or in the harbour and wait until we least expect it to hit.

If they read the forums they will be very happy and proud of themselves right about now.

If you knew some of the pirates you wouldn't be saying that, the pirates I know of have had the last laugh for a pretty good while now and will continue to do so for the forseeable future  I would, however, like to be able to dock with moving boats, if the boat trying to dock with the other boat is faster of course, otherwise it wouldn't make sense, this would make things alot more interesting.

I don't think the Seatown attack should be talked about since it is still going on. The initial attack may have been 4 days or more ago, but the attacks are still occuring.

You can put up a harbor. But only really big ships actually need one, for the rest its just that you can see a harbor from further away. Since most pirate ships aren't huge things like soarers, they have no problem bypassing harbor locks.

You can counter them by being awake at the boat-update point and crowbarring thir boats and hitting them, or by hitting them later it they're less alert than you are. Once boarding works you will also be able to use larger, faster ships to hunt them down.

Dominika's quite the pirate then? I'm sure Robert knows how to enhance her attacks...

You guys are probably right. It isn't fair to some so dead convo. No more talks about the attacks that are still occuring.

Of course now everyone knows that they are still occuring.... :D Especially since both of you pointed that out....But there's nothing wrong with that since we've now stopped talking about it.

So, we're talking about not talking about the raids?

So... there is a need for an anti pirate group? With crowbars at the ready to pop the locks off the pirate boat, then storm it and drag everyone to jail and death? Hmm... sounds fun.

Well the crowbars only work because of the annoying fact that once you start breaking a lock you can keep breaking it after the lock has left...the pirates attack, you start breaking their lock, they leave (hopefully wounded), you finish the lock while they're at sea and they get in trouble when they come back, likely not knowing their lock is gone.
