Especially if it could be something based on history within Cantr or just something original made up by an actual player just for the characters.

You just gave me an idea...

There is or was a group of whores on Treefeather traveling around in cars. The most dangerous kind of life any of my characters has had. She has survived from 4 murder attempts. Like miracle.

I can remember a group like this, and travelling bards and cynics do exist as well, though I do not know of any groups. At several points I do recall attempts being made, but I don't know if they were succesful or not.

Personally I love the idea of travelling groups, because it gives the possibility of both forming lasting relationships with your travel partners as if you were in a town, and the adventure of living on the open road.

Oh.. goodness... That is definitely not what I had in mind...

I meant more like a theatrical thing.. costumes, make-up, an actual script for characters to follow. And then people would probably record the play and have it in their libraries for people to read years after those characters aren't alive any longer.

Or maybe it could be more of a circus act. Like Cirque du Soleil. Acrobats and music with maybe a little story...

Or the bard/concert thing as well..

I actually have a character that intends to travel around her island with a party bus, hosting events and selling shiny wonderful things, materials to tailors, clothing other tailors have made, like their special brands, that sort of thing. xD Like a moving fashion show and carnival. :) And since she has a bus everyone can get on for the party!
I was inspired by Material Girl. 8)

Narrator once tried to write a play. But it didn't work. Narrator was only good at narrating, not playwriting. lol
(Also, I couldn't think of anything to write. And I got really caught up in the game mechanics of how the play would work.)

Sounds like it'd get confusing quickly... RP-ception

I was totally serious about the mechanics. :D I had a plan for a building and extensions with the "stage" and "backstage" communication using radios set to some obscure channel and everything.
Narrator was of course going to narrate the play.

Why aren't there any homophobes in the game?

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against gay people that I don't have against any other person. But seeing a homophobe and a flamboyantly gay person interacting could be quite interesting.

I was just thinking about this the other day. There are probably a few reasons. Part of the reason why some people are homophobic has to do with their religion. As far as I've seen, there hasn't been a religion that has deemed it unnatural. Also, in Cantr, people don't reproduce, so the whole "unnatural" argument is pretty invalid. In fact, it might even be more natural for same-sex couples to exist in the game. Men and women could be seen as entirely different races!

What I'd really love to see is an empire like Rome. Or an entire island ruled by one government.

Shai has a single government. Empires have existed in the past, but most kingdoms or empires now are more like confederations or an active town claiming ownership of an empty one or ones.
