Choosing *not* to eat?

Postby Lumera » Tue Oct 12, 2004 2:12 am

I'm not sure how much a demand for this there would be, but I'd like it if there were a button that let you choose whether you want to eat automically or not. That way all the annoying people who want to starve their characters couldn't be given food and kept alive indefinitely, while it wouldn't effect the ones who are just sleeping because their players are busy IRL.

Plus one of my characters is in a situation where she's like to take her food somewhere without eating half of it on the trip; I'd much rather just feed her healing food than have her waste the little bit of regular stuff she has.

It may also be fun for unreasonable business owners; "Take this food to trade, and don't you DARE eat any!" :P

It would be a nice addition...

Start seeing characters starve themselves in protest...

Although not many Cantr characters would care much... :)

It would be nice, especially if you could decide what food source you want to eat. If I for example plan a trip and have carrots and grilled meat I would want to eat the carrots first so that it leaves more room for carrying stuff along the way...
Eat the invisible food, Industrialist...it's delicious!

That, or modify it so it always eats the heaviest food you have first, rather than the earliest in the alphabet (as it does now).

I didn't think about actually choosing the type of food, but I think I'd like that. That way if you're carrying carrots to trade, you won't be going along eating your profits instead of whatever rations you brought for the trip.
