I checked just to see, and no....no black hair with piercing blue eyes here. I'm happy to say.

It is strange to see so many with that colouring. As a British person, I see many people with brown hair and blue eyes, but very few with black hair and blue eyes. Most of my characters do have dark hair and blue eyes though, as do I. My eyes are dark blue, though, rather than bright blue.

One living char with blue eyes (one dead, one dead turquoise)
One living char described as having black hair (two more dead, one living implied black hair)
None of these are the same person.

I thought I was definitely guilty then until I checked. Is this and being 6' tall the male equivalent of curves in all the right places?

I'm beginning to think there's very few towns that -don't- have a mute.

The mute epidemic is rather annoying, but what i find even more annoying is when someone makes their character blind or mute, and then suddenly they can speak or see again. And I don't mean by accident, I mean as in the player is just all "Well, this sucks, they're not blind anymore". One of my characters is blind, and sure it's hard to rp, you have to compromise and work around things. But if you aren't willing to stick with it, don't give your character a disability at all. :/

I don't mind that if it's RP'd they find some cure. People want to experiment and try to play different types of chars - that's one of the great things about Cantr! But I'd much rather someone say "ok, I'm in over my head here with this [insert disability] char and need a way to fix it" instead of continuing to struggle with it. It's better for the player and the players around them. It's just as difficult and more frustrating for other players to treat a char as being "disabled" when the char itself doesn't portray that "disability" very well.

Sure, that's understandable, but I mean more like they just alter their description (if applicable) and stop having the disability all together. No progress to fix it, they just stop roleplaying it.

It takes those around the disability to RP it just as well. I have noticed some people tend to ignore disabilities. Makes it hard for the player of one to play effectively.

I know this has been mentioned before. Several times. I'm sure, but this idea that there is some preset trading rate in game based on collecting rates is really annoying. If someone sails 15 days across half the map to bring stuff to trade. You can't expect them to trade it to you at tooled rates just because your character miraculously knows at what rate it's gathered at. I'm not discussing anything specific here, just an underlying theme I have seen over the time I have played the game.

You're right. A lot of times you can and should get better rates according to how far away the resource is though, or at least my characters do that sometimes.

I know it can be solved in game by refusing to trade unless agreeable rates, but still annoying. Almost to the point that I feel it should be a CRB if you know too much about resources when your character has never encountered them. I just wanted to complain a bit haha.

Re: Things that annoy or puzzle you about Cantr
Shared frustration. Had someone offering something in trade, but they couldn't agree on a value for the item in question. My character wasn't willing to trade for less than they paid, while the other character had a hard time believing that the day rate wasn't higher. Granted this might have been completely legit, as it was something precious and it may have been their first time encountering it. Mine paid what was asked because she had never seen anything like it.
