Chapter 3b: http://douglas2.deviantart.com/art/Cant ... -436247127
3a was weak. I chopped it too early. The rest of chapter 3 is much better.

Chapter 4b: http://douglas2.deviantart.com/art/Cant ... -437820924
When I first began writing this, my major motivation to get through the first three chapters was to get to this scene. Here we see the four main characters in Norn getting together at Lond's for dinner, and Lond plays his hand spectacularly. This scene presents the foundation of, and launches the rest of the story. It may very well be the most important scene in the entire novel.
I doubt many of you out there reading this were around when many of the events mentioned during this dinner took place in the game, but if you were, I hope it gives you a nice boost of nostalgia. For those of you that weren't, here's a quick character/location primer:
Ferrolati = Tribe Blackrock
Gretchen = Zany Dane
Anya = Ness Tancher (Hillspire)
East Kent = East Kol
Norn = Naron
Caldiga = Alexilad
Many of the characters so far are based on Cantr characters, so if you ever want to know who they were, let me know, and if I remember, I'll share
So, the die is cast, the cards are on the table. Now is the appropriate time to engage in wild speculation and conjecture regarding what's going to happen! (if you read an earlier version, don't spoil it!)

Just curious if anyone's still reading? Kinda sucks that I can't see page views. Then again, I haven't exactly tried to see if I can.

I started, and I'm really excited to read on, but I need to find the time first.
First two chapters really were good, though

Same here. And time is very very limited at the moment.

Re: Cantria - an original work of fiction
I read the first two chapters and then got caught up with school, and then I hardly touched my laptop during spring break. If I don't have too much homework this weekend I'll try to catch up.

The forum was down! And I've gotten preoccupied again since.
