I find the standard leather shoes ugly. What's up with the no laces thing?

You and me both. My char hated it the entire time she had to wear them, until she got croc skin boots. I imagine them to be extremely bland. I'm half tempted to suggest court shoes as that's what I wear to work, and I do have a few awesome pairs. They would be perfect for the Cantrian businesswomen! :D

I just picture them sort of like this, I don't think they're too ugly?

Just a little plain.

I don't like them either but the no laces part makes me picture them like loafers.

Nowadays I also imagine them as loafers, but I used to imagine them as having a slit in the middle and being really awkward.

Well aren't you the person who makes the clothes? You don't like it, fix it! :P Or just add a laced pair.

(Add some leather cowboy boots while you're at it...snakeskin is close but what's with the laces?)

Why not add mules? Wood, leather, bit of iron, easy.. Even high heeled mules..

There aren't enough people wearing wing-tips.. But they may be a bit more popular if they were called brogues?.. Unless that's just in the UK..

I think wingtips look too manly. I wish there were regular lace-up shoes but Greek thought there are too many shoes already.

I wore wingtips for a while in my youth. I found they looked very snazzy.

So very wrong...there is really no such thing as too many shoes.

Definitely not! 'Too many shoes' = 404 not found.
As for the wingtips, where I grew up, they have a rather unwholesome reputation. Haha, they are in fact called pimp/mafia shoes. When I see a char wearing them I inwardly grin.

One of my chars has a pair.. I always thought the dress loafers were a bit more pimp..

But wingtips are just one type of brogue! Why aren't they just called brogues? They have a better name, and I've seen quite a few women wearing brogues over here recently.. maybe after a rename even Seko would wear a pair?
