Leaving dinner to commemorate the six year since my dad passed and ran into my ex-in-laws whom I haven't seen since before my divorce the one year mark of that being two days from now. Thanks, universe. You are so awesome to me.

Got my car back... expensive but, since this is the first 'repair' in 80000 miles, I would say it was well worth the money. I thank my guardian angel for protecting me from harm.. apparently this part has been bad for a long time and I was informed it was something else...Had it gone completely out while driving, it would have been far more expensive ~if~ anyone survived to pay the price.

Mostly thought with a slight hint of rant:

Companies that have people all over the world doing work, should not work a five day week in the office. I've been out in the Shetlands on standby for a week now, and am now sat in the hotel, where the nearest shops are a half hour drive away, all weekend. Just because no one made the decision that we could come home on Friday, so now we have to wait till Monday.

I'm not complaining tooo much, as it essentially means I get paid by the day for sitting in my hotel room playing Cantr, but it does seem like an awful waste of money!

Oh, here's this thread. Anyway for those who don't know I just returned from my two year mission in Veracruz Mexico. So I've returned to Cantr II.

My bet was that you wouldn't be coming back to Cantr; that two years of being unplugged would have converted you to the the simplicity and fulfillment that comes with a unplugged life. Guess I was wrong.

I'm looking to go 7 days unplugged. I just haven't found 7 consecutive days where it would be convenient to do it. Too many important things going on in game. However, I think it will be sooner than later at this point.
