What if radios could distinguish between actual messages and spammers, and in doing so it attaches the name and exact location of spammers (both location name and coordinates on your sextant if applicable) to each of their spam messages so that it's suddenly easier for people to hunt down radio spammers?

What if one of the swords in-game was Farslayer so that we could immediately get rid of radio spammers?

That would be nice, but if we're picking Swords I'd have to go with Doomgiver. It's easy to get away from radios if you want. Doomgiver would provide absolute protection against attacks and attempting kidnappings.

If there really is a Sword in the game right now, I'd say it's probably Soulcutter and there are probably multiples of it too.

Coinspinner might be around too, especially in some of the Polish areas it seems.

What if the resources in Cantr II suddenly became limited one night. You couldn't gather infinite amounts anymore?

I think that would be cool, as long as some of them were renewable resources. It would make sense if things like oil and coal were limited and once you mined/pumped up the limit in a location, it would be all gone.

yeah, having to travel to keep your mining company could be fun.
To extend the speculation a bit... What if farming tasks used up all the plant-based resources, leaving an empty field until a seed planting project was undertaken?

That's actually a pretty awesome idea.

What if teleportation was possible? Which locations would be most lucrative/useful/interesting to create a portal between?

How about the Stone Knights and Blackrock Forest?

A bustling metropolis and the untracked wastes of Fu?

A landlocked mountain town and the middle of the ocean (build ships in the former, launch them through the portal into the latter)?

Actually the programmers could probably do something like this without terrible difficulty if they were feeling bored/whimsical.

What if animal attacks were directly proportional to the use of the word "chuckles"?

Ooh, one neat feature that I've always wanted but knew would get rejected in the suggestions is changing the overhearing whisper mechanic so that a character was more likely to overhear someone mentioning them by name. This is a phenomenon that occurs in real life, and it's very interesting.

If wish they were. It would make the game much more interesting.

I wish we could have a mechanic to where all deaf characters can "overhear" any whispering characters if they have mastered the art of lip reading. Just seems more realistic.

It would be a situation kind of like this...

(EDIT: Thanks, BMOT! I tried to over complicate things. )

(Maybe one day I'll figure out how to embed videos.)

Like this:

[ youtube ] paste JUST THE CODE of the video here (that's the part of the link with random letters and numbers, so for this vid it's HYZClMeQcOw) [ /youtube]

Oh, and this, without all the spaces
