Is there any way to just, stop, travelling?
When I say this, I mean is there a button to end the travelling stage/action?

Re: Travelling
I'm not sure what you mean... But:
You get out of 'travelling mode' by getting to the end of a road, which brings you to a location. You'll always be travelling until that time, with a 'T ##%' thingy behind your char's name.
When on the road, you can change your speed and direction. Automatically, you go full speed, but you can lower that (by percentages), or, when walking, use the 'match speed' button on another char's character description page. You can also turn around, so you go back to the town you came from. If you're in a vehicle, you can work on projects, but you can't when walking.
Any other questions?

I think I know who you play based on the timing of his action and this question.
Unfortunately you're going to have to make sure your heading in the direction you came from and wait for the travel tick. It's the only way back.

Re: Travelling
It's how often the traveling gets updated. Which if I recall correctly is every three hours.
